It's kind of insulting to claim that myths and fairytales were completely lost on the audience of Sailor Moon - not to mention completely inaccurate. Reworking. I realize that you really like Ikuhara and Utena, Akio, but please try to be neutral in your comments. Kerochan no Miko 09:36, 4 July 2006 (MST)

Is there some on-record comment about him being obsessed with myths and fairytales or are we taking that from the fact that the SuperS season's scriptwriters used a lot of them?--WikiSysop 09:55, 4 July 2006 (MST)

Yeah, that needs a source, really. Because the only evidence for this that I can think of is Utena. SuperS was sort of inspired by fairytales but most of that came from the manga. He also directed S and most of R, neither of which really shared this trait. So unless there's a source for him saying "I like fairytales", this is just speculation. If you're after info on Ikuhara, poke around HItoshi Doi's oages, I seem to remember there was some interesting stuff there. Dooky 11:11, 4 July 2006 (MST)

Added a link that should clarify this...

Added. Thanks for the reminder! --Phibby 18:28, 30 July 2006 (MST)
I think the bio part of this article needs a complete rewrite. It reads like unadulterated Ikuhara-worship. I agree that he's great, but we have to maintain some sense of neutrality... dooky 19:39, 30 July 2006 (MST)
I don't know enough about Ikuhara to add anything, but I rewrote what was there to be a bit more neutral. Kerochan no Miko 20:01, 30 July 2006 (MST)
