If there are no objections, I'm going to move this to "LINK" for the same reason as FIRE. Kerochan no Miko 07:33, 7 April 2007 (MST)

物語が

I don't think this kanji should be here... It should be ロマン... Changing... Cartwheelingfiesta 00:15, 16 April 2011 (MST)

there seems to be quite a few errors in the kana... does anyone have a source to check? Cartwheelingfiesta 00:24, 16 April 2011 (MST)
What you think and what the lyrics booklet says don't seem to agree:

I checked over the rest of the lyrics and fixed one typo, but everything else looks right. Kerochan no Miko 00:32, 16 April 2011 (MST)
Oh okay, its just that kanji isn't usually pronounced or read like ロマン... it makes sense buts its just kind of strange. Thanks. Either way it didn't actually make much difference to the translation... Cartwheelingfiesta 00:49, 16 April 2011 (MST)
In Japanese, they can take liberties in deciding how a kanji is to be pronounced in other than the more conventional ways, i.e. the Chinese-like pronunciation & indigenous Japanese pronunciation, as the kanji themselves are originally foreign words, too. And in this particular case, they even use the katakana of yet another foreign word, a Western one, as the furigana of those two kanji, lol which actually isn't too unusual, even tho it's unconventional. --210 07:30, 16 April 2011 (MST)
X3 I think it was already clear thats its just an unconventional way of pronouncing it... but thanks anyway, lol ^^ Cartwheelingfiesta 16:21, 16 April 2011 (MST)
Of course that's pretty obvious - I was just explaining the whys/how-comes & pointing out that it's actually not a very rare occurance. ; ) --210 01:05, 17 April 2011 (MST)
Alright, thanks? ._. Cartwheelingfiesta 02:35, 17 April 2011 (MST)
You're welcome. ^^ --210 06:34, 17 April 2011 (MST)

but the 1-chorus version needs explanation

Does this mean we need to state where a shorter version of a song ends for other songs like Moonlight Densetsu, Kirari Sailor Dream, Watashitachi ni Naritakute and such? I believe they are called "TV Size versions", or at least that what I've seen them been called on other websites. Should I start putting those in at some point? Cartwheelingfiesta 20:38, 16 April 2011 (MST)

That's a completely different situation and I don't know why you're even bringing it up, to be honest. Having a version of a song that was shortened to fit airtime for an OP/ED (which is a standard practice) has nothing to do with the fact that the 2004 version (was it was described on the soundtrack CD) was missing part of the song. Kerochan no Miko 00:59, 17 April 2011 (MST)
Okay, it was just a question... I was just curious if a TV Size version of an anime song counts as a different version, and if it should be noted. Thats all... ¬_¬ Cartwheelingfiesta 02:35, 17 April 2011 (MST)
Do I need to add the (1 Chorus version ends here) to this page and Mystery Sagashi? (and any others that have shortened versions) - and if so where in this article. Cartwheelingfiesta 09:42, 17 April 2011 (MST)
I don't think there's a way to do that, since the 1-chorus version doesn't simply end early, it leaves out verses in the middle of the song. Kerochan no Miko 14:44, 17 April 2011 (MST)
