It was not advertised as a Summer Special and should not be noted down as one. Besides the musical was performed in the Springtime. This is not a Musical Special, it is intended as a musical about Sailor Moon not a Sailor Moon Musical. There is a very subtle difference. - That was most certainly not snarky, simply a confused response to your incorrect statement. And if you would care to look, it is no longer called a "musical special" but I'm not sure what else we would refer to it as. September is still summer. - Not in Japan. Japan like Australia goes by months not by equinoxes and solstices. There is no need for a subtitle if it doesn't have one. There is no point in making up information just because it doesn't match. If you would care to look it says it here http://wikimoon.org/index.php?title=Sera_Myu, its not a Musical Special, a Musical Special, the original musicals were a spin-off to the anime hence the "special", it is not the same idea of "special" we have in English. This musical is independent to everythign else and is not produced or sponsered by Toei or Bandai, hence it is not a musical special of Sailor Moon but a Musical about Sailor Moon. It is simply a "2013 Musical". That is all. It is not associated with a season, the idea of "seasons" in musical is to relate them to their place in a schedule but it is not relevant to this show.
