At the moment this redirects to Princess Serenity, however I have been thinking of making this an article in its own right discussing the Moon Princess plot device of the first storyline and possibly elaborating on Venus' role as decoy in the manga and live action series and other things (the suspicion of Princess Dia for example). "Moon Princess" is inherently different to "Princess Serenity" in my opinion, as one is a title, and one is a specific person. It's the same as how Wikipedia has "Elizabeth II" and "British monarch" as separate articles - one deals with the person, the other deals with the title. I'm sure there wouldn't be any confusion here, particularly since the Moon Princess article will mention that the title belongs to Princess Serenity. dooky 06:49, 3 September 2006 (MST)

Of course, that's very true, & I wasn't saying that the 2 concepts were identical. However, we're dealing w/ a fictional world as opposed to real-world common sense knowledge like QEII & the British Monarchy. So we can't expect every viewer has the same level of knowledge about it as you do, hence I mentioned about the possible confusion btn the 2 & the need to tackle it. BTW, I'd be confused btn "QEII" & "British Queen" when I read them on the media, even tho I know the latter could also be referring to QEI, among others. ^ But they may not know that they've mixed up the concepts if they don't clicked the links, & even if they do go to the article, they may just skim it & not detect the diff. The current use of the disambig template can tackle the latter case, & the former one isn't that important so long as they can make sense of the articles containing the term w/ either understanding of the term, I guess. When was Serenity (or Venus, Rei, etc.) referred to as the "ムーン・プリンセス" in Japanese? I only remember hearing "tsuki no princess" or, less commonly, "tsuki no oujo" by Beryl in the anime episode 44, for example. Same with the manga, which I just checked, so I wonder if it's a Sera Myu thing or something? Anyone? Silver (talk) 21:20, 4 December 2014 (MST)
