Talk:Sailor Teleport
The Sailor Teleport isn't really an attack, strictly speaking... how about we have another template for general-purpose magic? This could encompass transformations as well as oddities like 'Silver Crystal Power'. Dooky 15:46, 31 May 2006 (MST)
- Well, it is a "command". Any magical act the Sailor Senshi performs is what I call a command. DENelson83 16:01, 31 May 2006 (MST)
- Fair enough. I think most people would view battle magic separately from non-offensive/transformation magic, so they probably deserve separate templates. I'd consider making a third template, apart from attacks and transformations, specifically for stuff like this, but there aren't that many commands like this one (there's Sailor Planet Power, Silver Crystal Power, Moon Crystal Power and a few bits of magic that don't require transformation, like Moon Power and the Luna P commands). I'll make a new template for magic, and put this in it for the time being. Dooky 16:14, 31 May 2006 (MST)

Hmmm...[edit]
I think in order for the Senshi to acquire an artificial Earth atmosphere when they go into space, this command would have to increase their collective mass by about twenty orders of magnitude. -- DENelson83 00:11, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- Or maybe the Senshi could survive w/o air in space? --210 03:16, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- Now that I've read the article, I retract my speculation above. You're right, DEN, but it'd be cool if the Senshi were like Superman. --210 05:52, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- I have to wonder if the Senshi can survive without air - they seemed just fine when they visited the moon in the first season, and when they were just sitting on the asteroid at the end of the R movie. Kerochan no Miko 11:53, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- So this might be a plot inconsistency, or the artificial atmosphere serves other purposes (e.g. for "passengers")? In any case, DEN's comment is still valid, & my speculation above has been resurrected now. --210 19:27, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- When I first saw the R movie, I thought that the Teleport created a protective sphere of sorts around those being teleported (maybe to ensure they didn't manifest in the middle of something else?) - I don't think it necessarily creates an atmosphere, especially if they can survive just fine without one. Of course, this is completely speculation anyway, since I don't recall anything official being said about it. Kerochan no Miko 19:59, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- Or to keep the Senshi together w/i an area while teleporting. Anyway, the modern concept of teleporting by thinking seems to be pioneered in the late Frank Herbert's classic novel Dune. --210 20:38, 6 October 2006 (MST)
- As it doesn't explicitly state whether the globe surrounding the Senshi in the R movie was contained atmosphere or a force field, or something else entirely, I removed that sentence from the article. Kerochan no Miko 20:47, 6 October 2006 (MST)
^ Yeah, no atmosphere, no problem. lol --210 21:27, 6 October 2006 (MST)
