That romanization format isn't commonly used nowadays, hence it's more likely that it's a typo than an intentional spelling according to that less common romaji form, especially for such ordinary stuff as opposed to, say, the surname of a historical figure or an old brand name. --210 06:27, 27 January 2011 (MST)

Has there been an argument at all? ^^; I think we're just discussing about issues concerning unusual romaji & all. ; ) Speaking of that I also see it having a parallel w/ kana renditions, which also have some odd cases in older texts, e.g. kana very seldom used nowadays, among other strange usage. --210 08:23, 28 January 2011 (MST)
