Revision as of 02:28, 11 April 2011

I added kana lyrics to a couple songs that were missing them... are there any other songs that need lyrics added that you were planning to translate soon? If so I'll add them to the top of my list. Kerochan no Miko 01:29, 19 March 2011 (MST)

It looks like I don't have the lyrics from Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin so I can't get "Jewel Managers Toujou" at the moment, and I can't find lyrics for "Wake Up! Shining!" either. It probably does need its own article, though? I'll get the others as soon as I can. Kerochan no Miko 01:22, 20 March 2011 (MST)

Punctuation in Translation

Cartwheelingfiesta, considering that I was the one who wrote that guideline you're quoting, I think I know what I meant by it more than you do. If you will notice the changes that I've made to your translations, I've kept commas and such in the middle of lines in order to make things clear, but if there isn't a question mark I don't see a reason to have a question mark -- context should be sufficient to show that it's intended to be a question, if not listening to the song itself. There is a reason to nitpick over punctuation, which is why I'm doing it. Please don't tell me, as someone who enforces compliance with the style guidelines, that I'm doing it incorrectly. (Also please note that the majority of the changes I've been making involve capitalization more than removing question marks, from what I recall.) Kerochan no Miko 01:49, 21 March 2011 (MST)

As also noted in the style guidelines, this wiki uses American English and I'm not interested in getting into quibbles over which one is "real" English. Kerochan no Miko 01:57, 21 March 2011 (MST)
XP it was a joke, silly Cartwheelingfiesta 01:58, 21 March 2011 (MST)
Ah. Apologies, then. I'm so accustomed to everyone trying to pick a fight (especially lately) that I tend to automatically read things that way. Also, tired. Kerochan no Miko 02:01, 21 March 2011 (MST)

And I was simply changing the translation to match the romanization, assuming it was talking about the god Eros. If that wasn't the case then you could have simply changed it back without making a comment in the edit summary that sounded rather offended. There was a simple explanation for what I did and I wasn't trying to "change the meaning" of the translation at all. Kerochan no Miko 23:50, 30 March 2011 (MST)

Cartwheelingfiesta, if an episode already has a perfectly good screencap that exists on the WikiMoon server, please do not replace it with a lower-quality too-large image on imageshack. If you feel there is something wrong with an existing image then please simply bring it up on the talk page instead of summarily making unnecessary changes.
