Hey, am I posting in the right place? I hope so..

Anyway, I was checking through the different animators for Sailor Moon, and decided to check my favorite anaimators page, Ikuko Ito. I found that there was an episode missing that she had made a contribution to, Episode 61 of the Japanese dub, "Usagi's Big Shock! Mamoru Announces That He's Breaking Up".

 +
I thought I'd correct it in light of this new information, however my edit seems to have been deleted.

I checked on lovdissention.org, a fansite for the animator herself, and her work within Sailor Moon, and it clearly says that she worked on this episode. If you watch the episode itself (namely the scene where Mamoru breaks up with Usagi) you can see that it IS her art style, and how it differs from that of the other animator who worked on the rest of the episode.

Sorry, I just love her work, and would hate for it to go uncredited, haha. ''(This unsigned comment was left by [[User:Joshh|Joshh]], April 27, 2011)''

In the Sailor Stars manga shortly before their demise at the hands of Sailor Aluminum Siren, Rei and Minako try to find Seiya, Taiki, and Yaten to talk to them about their true identities. The Three Lights essentially accuse Minako of being a little gung-ho about getting a boyfriend; Yaten says, "Yeah, right. You already have someone you've dedicated your life to." Minako admits, "You've got me...oops. Yeah, I've given my life to my one and only." An image with Usagi with angel wings is shown to emphasize what she's thinking. Rei steps in and says, "Actually, we don't need any men. Do you have a problem with that?" as she puts her arm on Minako's shoulder and smiles. Yaten replies, "No. I wouldn't expect any less from a Sailor Senshi!" This scene has always confused the mess out of me. I hate to read too much into it, but it seems a little too...sexy, which is odd, given the fact that Haruka and Michiru are the only two Senshi to be in an actual confirmed-by-the-author relationship. I've read the newly-translated Sailor V manga and know Kaitou Ace (Danburite) essentially curses Venus/Minako to never find her true love in place of always being able to fulfill her duty as a Senshi and Yaten's statement backs this, so these two stories make sense. But the fact that this panel makes Mars and Venus almost "together" confuses me, but makes sense because they are somewhat obviously meant to be "foils" to each other, like Jupiter and Mercury. Is this because of the horribad English translations Mixx churned out (unfortunately, I bought them)? Is this a silly inference, or do you think it's truly implied? Or does it mean they're just THAT dedicated to protecting the Princess? --[[User:Katw0man|Katw0man]] 21:48, 18 February 2012 (MST)

:I think it's open to interpretation, especially with the iffy nature of TokyoPop's translations. I personally see them as being just so dedicated to their Princess that they don't want/need a relationship, especially after "Casablanca Memory". Super Beryl's voice

Does anyone know who voiced Super Beryl, the Beryl/Metalia fusion from the end of the first season? Was it Keiko Han, Noriko Uemura or some clever combination of both voices? Dooky 20:48, 30 June 2006 (MST)

Kinda late, but I went and watched episode 46, and the credits don't list a voice for the "Super Beryl" but her voice sounds like Keiko Han's, doubled over by a computer. Sailor PFA ☾Talk☽Contributions 15:08, 15 August 2006 (MST)
Ah, nice to get some feedback on this at last ^_^ I did wonder if it was maybe Uemura and Han's voices overlaid on each other somehow... which would be a nice idea, but thinking about it might have been considered unnecessarily complex. Listening back to it now, it does sound more like Keiko Han than Noriko Uemura... dooky 16:19, 15 August 2006 (MST)

Mamoru's university

Most sites claim Mamoru attends K.O./Keio University, but where is this actually mentioned? Is it a manga thing? I ask because the only reference I can fid in the anime is the map enclosed in the second S Nakayoshi guide. This identifies K.O. University as Mamoru's university, but it should be pointed out that the university had never appeared in the anime up to that point. Furthermore, some other info on the map contradicts anime canon, such as the Diamond Kingdom being changed back to the D Kingdom (as it was in the manga). Now, I thought I'd finally figure this out by watching the SuperS episode with the dance at the university. But here, the name appears on a poster as Touzai (東西) University. The uni is also briefly seen in the episode with Kobayashi and Saori, but I don't think there's any identifying text there. So... Mamoru's university in the anime appears to be Touzai, so does he attend K.O. in the manga? I seem to recall he was younger in the manga anyway... Could someone please clear this up as it's driving me nuts. Dooky 20:48, 30 June 2006 (MST)

I can't recall very well >.< But ir seems that Mamoru was younger in the manga...he was still in school (Motoazabu) in the first season. He does still use the school uniform in the 2nd season. After that, I'm not sure... Kasumi
He attends Moto Azabu at first but then succesfully enters K.O. I think in Dream. But I definately remember seeing K.O. University in the manga in reference to Mamoru. GracieLizzie 01:32, 1 July 2006 (MST)
As far as I know, the university in the Dance episode is not stated as being Mamoru's school. Also, the grounds of the campus in the episode with Kobayashi/Saori are Keio's.--WikiSysop 10:26, 1 July 2006 (MST)
Well, I've just checked the dance episode and Mamoru does seem to refer to it as 'our college'. Could be a translation ambiguity... however, going back to the Saori episode, it seems that this is indeed Mamoru's university. This is a screencap of Mamoru's university as it is seen at the end of the Saori/Kobayashi episode. It's the only establishing shot we get and it is never named onscreen. This is a screencap from the beginning of the dance episode: it's clearly the same building. Finally, here is a screencap of the poster displaying the university's name. I've looked around for some pictures of Keio University, and they do share some design similarities, so it's conceivable that Touzai was based off Keio, and they just happened to change the name. Does anyone know if the university ever appears again in the anime? If so, I can investigate further. Dooky 12:05, 1 July 2006 (MST)

My mistake about him saying it was his school in that episode. Touzai is definitely supposed to be Keio; I don't know why the name was changed but I could have sworn during the first two seasons that at some point they referred to Mamoru's or had a sign for it listed as "K University."--WikiSysop 20:23, 1 July 2006 (MST)

According to a map from the S Memorial Album, it's "KO University" in the anime as well. It looks like the nameplate is an animator screw up in the SuperS season.--WikiSysop 20:33, 1 July 2006 (MST)
The only time I can recall seeing a university in the first two seasons is during the Reika/Motoki episode, but that was Azabu Technical College (which apparently only Reika attends). It is weird though, because the map in the S Nakayoshi guide does have K.O. listed as Mamoru's university... and not only had it not appeared in the anime at this point, he wasn't yet attending it in the manga either. The earliest reference I can find to KO in the manga is in the Viluy chapter, when Setsuna, Reika and possibly Motoki are shown as students there. Mamoru joins in the first chapter of SuperS. Hmm. I suppose the Nakayoshi guides were released after the relevant series, so maybe that explains it... although if that was the case, why didn't they use Touzai, the name they'd established in SuperS. Bah, it makes no sense.
In any case, these are apparently the universities of the uni-age characters in the anime and manga as far as I can make out. Don't know about PGSM, so feel free to add them if you know them.
  • Mamoru: Touzai University (anime), K.O. University (manga)
  • Motoki: Touzai University (anime), K.O. University (manga)
  • Reika: Azabu-Juuban Technical College (anime), K.O. University (manga)
  • Setsuna: K.O. University (manga)
There is a question here of what takes precedence, canon-wise. I'd take an on-screen reference from the anime over something that was in a guide (since the guides do occasionally contradict the series, on matters such as the name of Dia's country and the Edwards/Edward thing). Should we include Touzai in the article for K.O. or have separate articles for each? Name change or not, it does seem that Touza is based upon Keio...
- Dooky 20:59, 1 July 2006 (MST)

Go with Tozai as Keio, perhaps noting the KO Reference from the Memorial Book. If we find anything else later we can always make changes.--WikiSysop 01:33, 2 July 2006 (MST)

Manga Volume 1, Act 3, Rei/Sailor Mars, It's where he's on the bus with Usagi on his name card. It cites his age there. Citation of specific volumes and acts is a good thing... anyone need the frame number and page? Mamoru enters KO university which is a pun on Keio (but not the same for purists and literalists), Volume 12 Page 1. He got into Harvard in the Chibiusa Picture Diary, Volume 17 (Before the events of 16 started) because Usagi and him mention shopping for Harvard then. In addition he went to harvard on a plane at the beginning of Volume 16, but was sidetracked at the airport when Galaxia disintegrated him in front of Usagi's eyes. It would be presumed that he eventually went though...

Anime it states it explicitly in Super when that girl has a crush on him. (I'm not so good on the anime, but the episode is in Super--it's the one where Chibiusa is concerned and Usagi has blind faith in Mamoru. so sometime after probably episode 93?) The older age is probably due to some confusion/reinterpretation of the facts being mixed up with Endou, who appeared in Volume 3 Act 11 of the manga as an eye catch that Reika mentions. He went to the same university as Motoki. Endymion/Evil Mamoru took his place, thus shuffling the ages.--Hitsuji Kinno 13:07, 4 July 2007 (MST)

Stars anime guide

It's a long shot, but I don't suppose anyone has a copy of this? (you'll have to copy and paste the link) It's the only Stars anime reference work in existence, and it seems to be much rare than the anime albums. There may be a SuperS equivalent of this as well. I don't know how exhaustive these books are but they could be a valuable source for item names, etc. Dooky 19:59, 4 July 2006 (MST)

I know this is ancient but I just stumbled upon this site and found this topic. I have that book and I actually had no idea it was that rare. I bought it at a local high quality used bookstore last year and it's been sitting among my SM collection ever since. My Japanese reading/typing is a bit rough

so it'd take me a while to translate or I could attempt to scan the pages if you're still interested. HinoRei 10:48, 24 February 2007 (EST).

I don't know about anyone else, but I'm certainly interested to see it, if you could scan pages... Kerochan no Miko 09:13, 24 February 2007 (MST)
This book contains less info than the media books of the 1st 3 seasons (it's targeted at comparatively lower age groups), but is still an invaluable source as no media books has been published for the last 2 seasons. It's of the equivalent class of PGSM's memorial book. --210 20:41, 24 February 2007 (MST)
And there's also a SuperS equivalent of this book. --210 20:46, 24 February 2007 (MST)
I tried to scan pages but it proved impossible because the book is a paperback and very tightly bound. I could still take pictures and send them to if you would like, Kerochan no Miko.

Recent issues about WikiMoon

Don't know where to put this so I put it here.

(1) Admins pls goto Shigeru Yanagawa and see what happens, the poster's address also starts w/ "210" but it's not me.

(2) In the past few days, I've experienced lengthy response times. Don't know if it's server problem or traffic jam, or if it's just me (tho my response times of accessing other sites are normal). Yesterday I'd actually created an A/C (SN: "210"), but when I logout, it took so long that it expired w/ an error msg, hence I dare not login again. Anyone?

210.245.162.185 19:07, 7 July 2006 (MST)

Sorry for posting the above msg in the wrong place. Now I know where to put it. You may move it there or just leave it here. 210.245.162.185 19:34, 7 July 2006 (MST)
Strictly speaking this isn't the place, but what the hell, I'll leave this here for now. In answer to your questions...
  1. I've fixed the Yanagawa thing. It was most likely just some bewildered new user checking if the site really is editable. I've put up a messgae pointing out their error (should they return). If they do it again we'll see about taking action, but for the time being I'm not going to class it as vandalism.
  2. Not sure what's been up with the site but I expect it's just a server issue. It's still a bit sluggish but things seem to have improved. Incidntally, your account does seem to have been created. I suggest you try logging in again, I suspect it will be fine. Dooky 20:10, 7 July 2006 (MST)
Thx! But it takes so long for me to log in & out, so I'll just stay anonymous till the sys improves. 210 20:33, 7 July 2006 (MST)
Are you on a public computer? Unless you have the 'keep me logged in' box ticked, the site should log you out automatically after a while. Dooky 20:42, 7 July 2006 (MST)

^ I'm on a public phone. ^^; And no, I haven't ticked that box. 210 20:52, 7 July 2006 (MST)

Site slowness is due to GoDaddy. For some reason, GoDaddy does not host its mysql databases on the local server but rather on seperate servers. Sometimes the connection between the file host and the mysql host seems to be strained but there's nothing I can do about that unless someone decides to donate to us a dedicated server and whatnot.--WikiSysop 06:00, 8 July 2006 (MST)

I didn't even know GoDaddy offered hosting services, I thought they just had cheap domains. Oh well, sounds like I'm better off only getting domains from them and not their servers if mysql isn't run off their local server. In any case, I'm only using a fraction of my disk space and bandwidth on the server I'm using now, so I'm willing to have WikiMoon moved onto it. Drop me a note or e-mail and we can get everything setup for moving. I have today off so I'll be around all day it looks like and can get things done today if interested. --MarioKnight 11:46, 8 July 2006 (MST)

Is the slow sys response time lowering the level of activity today, or is it just coincidence? 210 06:22, 9 August 2006 (MST)

I wasn't around much last night, but the site seems to be running okay at the moment. It did get pretty slow yesterday though. dooky 07:01, 9 August 2006 (MST)

Rei's father's name

Could someone provide it? Thx! 210 23:05, 13 July 2006 (MST)

I don't think he was ever named, was he? Dooky 02:29, 14 July 2006 (MST)
I know he wasn't named in the anime or live action, not sure about the manga. Elanorea 04:49, 14 July 2006 (MST)
I don't think he appeared in the anime. Haven't read the manga in detail so can't tell. No idea about myus & games. And I'm sure that his name wasn't mentioned in the live action. HOWEVER, I'm not sure whether his name appeared in the live action's credit or official literature (as per Mizuno Saeko), hence my question here. Don't know whether it's in my dreams, I think I've seen his name before. Anyway, thx for your responses. ^^ 210.245.162.185 05:34, 14 July 2006 (MST)
Yeah, someone needs to look through the PGSM credits. I didn't know Ami's mother had been named, but I recall Naru's mother was identified as 'Mayumi'. Dooky 07:47, 14 July 2006 (MST)

^When I was just walking as usual today, my memory had suddenly resurfaced from nowhere: "Takashi"!! (Or it could be "Ryoji", as my memory of his name is constituted of the 2 kanji characters only, since his name has never been in audio form.) Sorry, I can't type the kanji here. But Japanese experts, basing on your experience, which pronunciation is more likely? 210 03:21, 15 July 2006 (MST)

Now I think of it, both "ryo" & "shi/ji" are based on Chinese pronunciation, whereas "taka" is the indigenious Japanese pronunciation. The 2 systems of pronunciation usually don't mix together within a word or name. Could this mean that "Ryoji" is more likely? Or in accordance to some Japanese naming convention, "Takashi" is? 210 03:43, 15 July 2006 (MST)
I think "隆司" is the rendering you're looking for. Most sites seem to have this as "Ryoji", but I don't think 隆 is ever pronounced Ryo - it can, however, be pronounced as "Ryuu". So that's his name, but the jury's still out on the pronunciation. According to WWWJDIC it could be Takashi, Takaji, Takamatsu or Ryuuji, although Takashi seems to be the most common. Dooky 04:10, 15 July 2006 (MST)
You got the correct kanji!! Actually when I recalled the kanji of his name, my instinct gave me the pronunciation of "Takashi". But when I googled "Hino Takashi" to confirm it, I couldn't find it. Instead, I got "Hino Ryoji" at the Shingetsu site. I also felt the "ryo" pronunciation of the kanji a bit awkward, but since the site was co-authored by a Japanese (SN: Wasurenagusa), I went w/ "Ryo" accordingly. And yeah, it should be "Ryuu" if it's pronounced like that. Thx for your help. m( _ _ )m I'll go w/ "Takashi". 210.245.162.185 04:49, 15 July 2006 (MST)

Rei's mother's name

lol Anyone knows if it exists & if so, what's it? (Tho I bet it doesn't exist, just a precaution in case I'm wrong.) 210 00:18, 16 July 2006 (MST)

I believe Rei's mother's name was Risa. -- DENelson83 01:44, 16 July 2006 (MST)
Bugger me, you're right! Apparently her name was seen on a gravestone in PGSM episode 17. I'm kind of curious as to why she'd be buried in a Christian cemetery given that she's from a Shinto family, but I bet someone has an explanation... Dooky 02:35, 16 July 2006 (MST)
You beat me DENelson!! ^^ I've totally forgotten that! And thx for reminding me. Dooky, PGSM hasn't told about her family religion. 210 04:02, 16 July 2006 (MST)
Wait a minute -- wouldn't she have been cremated instead of buried? Under Japanese law, that's what should have been done to her body after she died. -- DENelson83 11:29, 16 July 2006 (MST)
I believe cremation is the norm, but there are certainly cemeteries where the ashes are buried. But I haven't seen PGSM so any context is lost on me. Dooky 12:13, 16 July 2006 (MST)
There doesn't have to be an actual body present for someone to have a gravestone... Kerochan no Miko 14:24, 16 July 2006 (MST)

There are cemetaries all over Japan. No bodies are buried there. The ancestral family gravestones are there, and the families come to pray to the souls of their departed family members. Where I live in Tokyo is known as the "cemetary belt" and there are many near my house.--WikiSysop 14:54, 16 July 2006 (MST)

There's also a large Minato-ku cemetary called Aoyama (blue mount) Cemetary, if I remember the name correctly, indicated on the map in Pt. II of the S media book. 210 18:34, 16 July 2006 (MST)

Sailor Planet Power vs. Sailor Planet Attack

Anyone know the differences between these two commands? -- DENelson83 01:45, 16 July 2006 (MST)

It's kind of ambiguous, but Sailor Planet Power basically involves combining powers to overwhelm some other power (it was used to counteract the gravity beam of Rubeus' UFO). Sailor Planet Attack has the same buildup, but the combined power is then targeted at a specific enemy. Generally I classify SPA as an attack, while SPP is a magic ability along the lines of Sailor Teleport. Dooky 02:30, 16 July 2006 (MST)

Name of the actor playing Kenji-papa

He only appears in the Special Act & is 1 of the 4 (?) directors of PGSM, but I've forgotten his name, & even if I could recall all the directors' names, I'd still not be sure which one is his. Could someone help? Thx. 210.245.162.185 04:54, 17 July 2006 (MST)

I was going ask this too. I'll ask over at the Genvid boards, see if anyone there knows. GracieLizzie 05:24, 17 July 2006 (MST)
Thx! ^^ 210 06:19, 17 July 2006 (MST)
Found it! [1] :) Apparently he play a few bit parts, anyone know which? GracieLizzie 13:43, 17 July 2006 (MST)
Thank you Gracie!! He's the director of some earlier episodes. About the bit parts, that nerd teacher isn't him. He's an assistant director (forgotten his name). The other one I've no idea. 210 17:17, 17 July 2006 (MST)

Nanae Sumitomo as Sailor Venus

In the credits of episode 163, both Rica Fukami and Nanae Sumitomo are credited as playing Sailor Venus. Does anybody know any background to this? Kae Araki's stint as Sailor Moon is common knowledge, but I've never heard this mentioned by anyone. dooky 06:44, 2 August 2006 (MST)

Gender changes

Just a little something I'm trying to set up for the Did You Know section. The major characters to undergo sex changes for the NA dub were Zoisite, Fish Eye and Zirconia. The only minor characater I can think of right now is Tamasaburou, but I'm pretty sure there are more. Can anyone remember any others? It'd be nice to have a definitive list. dooky 07:40, 14 August 2006 (MST)

Well, if other dubs count, the Portugese dub is kind of infamous for switching the genders of Luna and Artemis. --Rosen 07:54, 14 August 2006 (MST)
Also apparently in Korea the Starlights were always female.[2] About the Portuguese Luna/Artemis sex switch... that's always puzzled me, I mean that must have meant the S movie must have never been dubbed... or have been difficult too. GracieLizzie 08:22, 14 August 2006 (MST)
Well, not that difficult if the Portuguese could made it like the Starlights. lol 210 18:42, 14 August 2006 (MST)

I've read that in the dub Sailor Moon two characters change genders. Which ones are they? (This unsigned comment was left by 79.73.189.250)

Three, actually. Zoisite, Fish-Eye, and Zirconia. Zirconia being changed into a man actually screwed up a plot element - she's supposed to be Nehelenia's nightmare as an old woman. (This unsigned comment was left by Sailor Biccy)
I guess Zirconia's gender change is most pointless since it has nthg to do w/ homosexuality nor transexuality? --210 18:29, 13 August 2007 (MST)

? There is a "Gender Changes" section on this page already, and it addresses the same subject; see #11 in the Contents box. --Rosen 23:52, 13 August 2007 (MST)

Thx. Combined now. --210 05:58, 14 August 2007 (MST)

PGSM Senshi Shoulder Pads

Anyone knows starting from which (early) episode they were upgraded? 210 00:46, 24 August 2006 (MST)

Answer is here. 210 21:38, 21 September 2006 (MST)
And comparison pictures here. Kerochan no Miko 22:47, 21 September 2006 (MST)

A bunch of questions

  1. When the Silver Crystal changes shape and color in S (don't know if it ever does in the manga), is it still referred to as the Silver Crystal? Or is that a completely different crystal, while the Silver Crystal is kept elsewhere?
  2. Are the Sailor Animamates' tails and Eternal Sailor Moon's wings real, or just part of their costumes?
  3. Does the "TARDIS" phone booth work like its Doctor Who counterpart? (The latter is no longer broadcast in Russia, and I don't have access to any episodes).
  4. Do the Senshi have access to hammerspace in civilian forms? In some episodes, they seemingly produce their transformation items out of nowhere, given that they couldn't have hidden them in whatever they were wearing at that moment...
  5. Is purification mandatory in Crystal Tokyo? From the wording here, it seems that the future people were given the ultimatum of purification or exile, which, as I feel, gives the story some Orwellian overtones that probably weren't intended by Naoko... A quick Google search reveals that there are many fanfics out there that portray Crystal Tokyo as a dystopia, so it's probably not just me.

- Sikon 13:25, 13 January 2007 (MST)

  1. Are you talking about the S movie? Because if you're referring to the crystal inside the brooch, I always assumed that the pink heart-shaped thing was just covering the Crystal and wasn't the Crystal itself - it was definitely never given a different name. Maybe by that point the Crystal went back inside her body; it couldn't've been that star inside of her Eternal brooch.
  2. I'm fairly sure that the Animamates' unusual body parts were part of them; they were from other planets, after all, I'd say tails and wings wouldn't be surprising. And since ESM could fly with her wings, I'm guessing those were real as well.
  3. Haven't seen Doctor Who, no help there.
  4. I personally think they have some kind of hammerspace, but there was nothing ever said canonically.
  5. As far as I've seen, purification was mandatory. And yes, there are a ton of dystopian-Crystal-Tokyo 'fics out there.
Kerochan no Miko 13:38, 13 January 2007 (MST)
  • Considering the wings: she never flew with those wings... It was the Light of Hope that gave her credibly-looking wings, with which she was able to fly in the final episode, but those didn't come with her usual Eternal outfit. - Sikon 13:59, 13 January 2007 (MST)
Not true - see episode 170, where she flew in her ESM outfit. Kerochan no Miko 14:21, 13 January 2007 (MST)
Maybe the wings in her ESM outfit operate as the functional parts of her costume (as per Janet Jackson's lol), not as her body parts? --210 21:16, 13 January 2007 (MST)
That...doesn't make much sense. And are you suggesting that she flies with a decorative part of her costume? Might as well say the bow on her back will let Sailor Mercury fly. Sailor Moon had wings show up in her transformation for quite some time before they actually stuck around in her Eternal form; I don't see why they wouldn't be actual wings. Kerochan no Miko 21:33, 13 January 2007 (MST)
If the flight-capable (as being seen) wings are part of her ESM outfit, then they're not merely decorative. And I wasn't discounting the possibility that they're body parts - I was just suggesting another possibility. (Also note that the wings of ESM are located lower (like a back bow) on her costume than the ones seen in her previous transformations, so they might not be the same wings.) --210 21:55, 13 January 2007 (MST)
Then I don't understand what possibility you're suggesting. They're part of her costume but they're body parts as well...? Kerochan no Miko 22:25, 13 January 2007 (MST)

^ No, they're mutually exclusive. What I meant is: possibility 1 - body parts, as you've suggested above; (EXCLUSIVE) OR possibility 2 - costume parts w/ flight capability, as I've suggested above. And I'm not ruling out either possibilities (reread my last comment). --210 00:10, 14 January 2007 (MST)

Trust me, I read your comment several times and still didn't get it. And how does a costume let one fly, unless said costume is a hang glider or something? Kerochan no Miko 07:53, 14 January 2007 (MST)
Not a hang glider. It's the "something" - the wings attached to her costume (hence could be viewed as part of it) could've a flying function (don't ask me the exact engineering mechanism of how it's realized lol). --210 22:43, 14 January 2007 (MST)
  • Actually, in episode 170, she is elevated straight upwards by some "pixie dust" (I can upload a clip if needed). The wings don't appear to be involved, neither do they move. I'd say that being in the Eternal SM mode is what allows her to fly, not the wings in particular. Of course, it's all just speculation. It might be that they intended the wings to be real, but abandoned the idea after the Nehellenia arc... - Sikon 07:01, 14 January 2007 (MST)
I've seen the episode (which is how I know what happened in it), and I refuse to believe that ESM flies by means of magic pixie dust. I know this is a show in which schoolgirls transform into champions of love and justice and throw magic energy hearts around, but pixie dust is just stretching my credulity a little too far. :P Kerochan no Miko 07:18, 14 January 2007 (MST)

Setsuna Question: Is there any story ....

... behind Setsuna's "deathly fear" of cockroaches? Or is it just one of those things? How "deathly" is it? Where does one find this? Manga, character guide, something else?

If you would care to look at her character page you will find the source referenced in the footnotes. Kerochan no Miko 19:29, 22 January 2007 (MST)
Thank you. Nice idea this site. I'll try to contribute where I can. "Moonstruck 17:29, 23 January 2007 (MST)"
On another note, pls sign your comments by typing "~~~~" at the end. ^^ --210 05:45, 23 January 2007 (MST)
Certainly. I take it that anime album is in Japanese. Since I do not read or speak it, can you summarize the exact nature of the "deathly fear," and its cause if any, for me? I'd like to use it in something. "Moonstruck 17:29, 23 January 2007 (MST)"
She's...afraid of cockroaches. I really don't know what else there is to know about it. Kerochan no Miko 17:48, 23 January 2007 (MST)
I'd like to help, but have forgotten what it says about that, & can no longer access my book now. Any scan/link anyone? --210 17:50, 23 January 2007 (MST)

Is there any canon on how she came to fear them? Is it just her particular phobia, or is there an Indiana Jones type story behind it, or was she up late one night watching the Japanese dub of Damnation Alley, or Mimic, or the X-Files, or Men in Black and then fell asleep and had a nightmare about flesh eating cockroaches? Is there any canon on how she reacts when she encounters one? Let's say she and Hotaru are sitting around a table having dinner with perhaps a guest and la cucaracha flies right down onto the table next to her plate. What exactly will happen? Will she faint, run screaming into the night, dig her nails into the table and try to rip the tablecloth apart, grab her lip rod or maybe Hotaru try to beat it to death, transform and blast it with the Dead Scream, what? It's fine if there no canon on this little detail, and I'm free to make something up. I just don't want some mouth breathing Umino to come along later and say "that's not how she reacts." ;) "Moonstruck 07:29, 24 January 2007 (MST)"

I think you're reading more into this than really exists. Her profile says that she's afraid of cockroaches, and IIRC there was a little side drawing of her jumping on a chair because a cockroach walked by, but that's about all there is to it. There was no manga arc devoted to Cockroach the Youma or anything. O_o Kerochan no Miko 11:36, 24 January 2007 (MST)
Perfect. Sounds like there's freedom to have fun with it then. Not reading anything into it, or overanalyzing. Just wanted to make sure there was no backstory or expected reaction other than the usual. Research and all that. Thanks. "Moonstruck 12:24, 24 January 2007 (MST)"
So I guess you wanna write a fanfic about it? ^^ I guess she saw that the roaches flourish & evolve into intelligent beings after the demise of our species - that's why. lol --210 17:47, 24 January 2007 (MST)
That would be fun maybe. I do have in mind something that has a cockroach encounter as a bit of comic relief, or breaking the ice. Also any potential enemies that can manipulate fears would necessary think projecting large cockroaches to paralyse Sailor Pluto, assuming such irrational fears carry over to their Senshei forms. The story I have in mind has other fish to fry, and at this point I doubt it's going to work. As with the last time I tried something like this, it's ballooned all out of proportion to my original expectations. Anyway, thanks for the info. "Moonstruck 18:17, 24 January 2007 (MST)"
Her phobia is well-known enough that it's been incorporated into a lot of fanfic, from what I've seen. If you're all that worried about making sure it stays canon, you could look at how other writers deal with it. Kerochan no Miko 18:18, 24 January 2007 (MST)

Hotaru question: Death Rebirth Revolution

When Hotaru lowers the boom on something, does she have to die in doing so? In the anime, she says as much, but I had heard that it was not so in the manga. "Moonstruck 08:31, 24 January 2007 (MST)"

When Sailor Saturn uses her power, it destroys everything and everyone including herself. Kerochan no Miko 11:38, 24 January 2007 (MST)
This seems misleading. Moonstruck's question title refers to "Death Reborn Revolution." In the manga, Saturn uses that attack against Master Pharoah 90, and it appears to be completely separate from Sailor Saturn's action of lowering the Silence Glaive, which is what signals and starts the destruction of the world (and which gets its own two-page spread). In other continuities, as well (for instance, Another Story and one or two of the musicals) "Silence Glaive Surprise" can apparently be used without any particularly ill effect. In the anime, there is no Death Reborn Revolution, and Saturn's world-destroying powers aren't directly seen. However, unlike in the manga, her attack "Silence Glaive Surprise" is a suicide attack. The way Saturn talks about it to Nehelenia and Galaxia, it appears it would only kill herself and her target - then again, when we see it half-completed in episode 172 (?), it's producing a very large dome of light that looks like it has the potential to cause collateral damage.
But at the very least, there's never any indications that Sailor Saturn could survive her action of destroying the world.--Dallbun 20:20, 19 April 2007 (MST)
Actually, the question title was "Death Rebirth Revolution," and since Moonstruck referred to Saturn "lowering the boom" I assumed he/she was referring to the dropping-the-Glaive thing. Hence my answer. Kerochan no Miko 20:28, 19 April 2007 (MST)
Ah. Fair enough. I suppose I jumped to some conglomeration of Death Reborn Revolution and Silence Glaive Surprise, since the latter is what *I* think of as Saturn "lowering the boom." Anyway, all cleared up.--Dallbun 20:34, 19 April 2007 (MST)

New Season

I really want a new season of Sailor Moon? Does anyone know if there might be one? I mean after Sailor Stars. (This unsigned comment was left by anonymous user 72.65.205.171)

It's not going to happen. Kerochan no Miko 18:49, 9 February 2007 (MST)
While nothing is absolute, don't expect it to happen. And if it did, it'd very likely be an entirely new story or remake, not a Sailor Stars sequel. --210 19:11, 9 February 2007 (MST)

Exact adresses

Hi There everyone!

I am not sure if it is available or ever mentioned anywhere, but could you tell me, if there is any info on that, what is the exact adress of Tsukino residence, Juuban High School or Hikawa Jinja???

Thanks,

GIlbert

Considering that the buildings as they are in the series don't actually exist in the real world, it'd be kind of difficult to give them addresses...though the real-life counterparts for the Hikawa Shrine have them, I'm sure. Kerochan no Miko 07:17, 17 February 2007 (MST)

Komatsu (PGSM actress playing Minako) lived in S. America?

I've heard about this in various places, even in some Wiki sites, for some time. I'd not be particularly surprised if it was true since many Japanese have been living there for generations (& there was even one who became a President). But could anyone confirm it & pinpoint the source of origin? --210 22:20, 4 March 2007 (MST)

Professor Tomoe's portrayal in Sailor Stars

Why does he look so different? He seems much younger, and also doesn't have his glasses and wheelchair. - Sikon 05:27, 10 April 2007 (MST)

I'm guessing most of it is due to the fact that he's no longer possessed. The glasses were only there to hide his eye, I thought. Kerochan no Miko 05:43, 10 April 2007 (MST)
Yeah, he's recovered, hence looking younger & no wheelchair. His previous glasses might serve some functions for the entity possessing him (forgotten its name). --210 06:44, 10 April 2007 (MST)
But he still had the glasses when last seen in S, unpossessed. The "possession artifact" on the right lens was gone, though. In Stars, he has no glasses at all - did his sight improve? - Sikon 05:06, 14 April 2007 (MST)
Well, since they never said anything about it, your guess is as good as anyone else's. Kerochan no Miko 05:13, 14 April 2007 (MST)
Maybe he has bought contacts? Or invested in laser eye surgery? I wouldn't put that in btw, too speculative but as Kerochan no Miko says, it could be any reason. --GracieLizzie 17:07, 14 April 2007 (MST)

^ Actually he also wore glasses before he was possessed. In any case, I like his "new look" - Hotaru-chan got a handsome & young-looking dad. lol --210 20:44, 14 April 2007 (MST)

Origin of Russian TV Moonlight Densetsu?

This (MP3, 1.2 MB) is the opening theme for the first two seasons (and, oddly enough, Sailor Stars) of the Russian dub (TV rip, so it isn't the best quality). It's Moonlight Densetsu without words, but it's different from the "instrumental version" available on sailormusic.net. What's its origin, and is it available anywhere in higher quality? - Sikon 05:05, 14 April 2007 (MST)

Can't answer your question, but it seems to be an original Japanese score. --210 20:51, 14 April 2007 (MST)
Sounds like a karaoke mix of the DALI version to me... but after a quick search, the only one I can find in my collection is slightly different, as it keeps in some of the backing vocals, and is a longer edit. - dooky (for it is he)

the movie that began on the moon kingdom?

This question i hope might shed some light on a missing link in the sailor moon history. I remember watching a movie about 13 or 14 years ago with similar characters to those of Queen Serenity, the Moon Princess (she had the long hair pigtails at the sides) and Prince Darrien. They all looked exactly identical to those on the series. I do not remember the name of the movie. I do not know if it has any relation to the sailor moon series either. I do know some of the subjects that i saw in the movie. The Queen was trying to protect the Princess. There was a character that resembled Queen Beryl that emerged from dark cloud formations above the Kingdom. The animation was done in the same style as Vampire D. Darker and more mysterious than the sailor moon series animation. The Prince, near the end of the movie, jumped from a balcony after speaking with the Princess and flew into the dark clouds. Last final memory was that he said he would vanquish the evil inside the cloud formation and protect the kingdom. Can there be an existing movie that began before the series??? (This unsigned comment was left by 206.172.185.159)

That sounds an awful lot like certain scenes in the first season. I suspect you're just getting it mixed up in your memory. Kerochan no Miko 18:27, 16 April 2007 (MST)
There are only 3 movies ever made for Sailor Moon, and none of them contain scenes of Queen Beryl nor of jumping from balconies. The only movie that has any tiny link at all to the Silver Millenium (and thus Queen Serenity) is the Sailor Moon S movie. You may have watched one or two fan made AMVs and got confused. As far as I know, Sailor Moon does not have an alternate universe other than Parallel Sailor Moon and the short stories and it didn't have any OVAs either. --Secretss 17:13, 19 April 2007 (MST)

Starlights Myu attack

According to Wikipedia, the Starlights have a group attack in the myu called "Star Fusion Tempest," but in this clip (about 3:06) it sounds to me like "Starlights Fusion Tempest." Anyone know the real name? Kerochan no Miko 09:18, 19 April 2007 (MST)

Yeah, it's clearly the latter according to this clip. BTW, the scrolling words are a bit Star-Wars-like, tho they're still large enough to be read before they scroll out of sight, hence can't be used to test my eyesight. lol --210 18:16, 19 April 2007 (MST)
Indeed. There's really no source that could be more official than the Myu footage itself. The Starlights' attack in Eien Denstesu (the Final First Stage) is "Starlights Fusion Tempest." I haven't seen the non-Kaiteban, so it's conceivable that the attack name changed between versions, but that's probably unlikely. (Incidentally, if anyone wants copies of any of the musicals in particular, get in touch.) --Dallbun 20:12, 19 April 2007 (MST)

Hmm. Looks like in Gaiden Dark Kingdom Fukkatsu Hen there's a reference to all the Inners and Shitennou having once been in love, but the only on-stage flirtation is the former being manipulated by the latter. Is that right? --Masamage 12:53, 5 May 2007 (MST)
Yes. --Rosen 04:12, 5 June 2007 (MST)

I'm curious too, this is new information to me. And it's something I tend to stay on top of...--WikiSysop 00:46, 26 May 2007 (MST)
You guys force me to wring Wiki's neck & I got this:
http://ja.wikipedia.org/wiki/セーラー服 (section 2, 3rd paragraph)
Tho I've to confess that, as lazy as I am, when I wrote that trivia note I wasn't using the above nor any other source - it just came from the top of my head. lol --210 02:13, 26 May 2007 (MST)
This has mostly been solved - Womansword: What Japanese Words Say about Women by Kittredge Cherry had an entry on sukeban, a subculture of delinquent girls in the 80s. It said that they had long skirts and permed hair (in common with Makoto, although it didn't say that, of course!) and that they were popular characters in boys' comics, but it had nothing on the shoes - just that they were such rebels that they wore coloured socks!!! -Malkinann 15:43, 1 June 2007 (MST)
Thx for spotting an English source. The style of her shoes is for matching her skirt - common girlish-styled strapped ones, for example, are out of match, so the main point/leading role is on the skirt. But ATM I'm not in the mood of hunting for sources for this subsidiary point. ^^; --210 19:24, 1 June 2007 (MST)
Thanks very much, Malkinann. :D It feels so awesome having an actual source for something that juicy. --Masamage 19:20, 2 June 2007 (MST)

Request: Official Japanese rendition of the Amazoness phrase

From the article "Yume Yume Utagau Koto Nakare":

In the anime, the Amazoness Quartet often recited the phrase, "yume yume utagau koto nakare, yume miru kodomo no yume no yume"

Altho the overall meaning is quite obvious, I'd like to know how it's actually written in official materials, if any. Thx!

--210 23:26, 8 July 2007 (MST)

It's written all in hiragana: ゆめゆめうたがうことなかれゆめみるこどものゆめのゆめ。[4] -- DENelson83 12:00, 10 July 2007 (MST)
I've never known anyone to say that the meaning of the AQ phrase is "obvious" - in fact, I've seen a lot of debates about what exactly it's supposed to mean. Kerochan no Miko 14:37, 10 July 2007 (MST)
Thx DENelson83, but is it from official materials? Kerochan, it's I myself who has debated in the discussion page about your translation of the song title (which comes from that phrase) in the article I linked above. I said "the overall meaning [of the whole line] is quite obvious" (bracketed words added here), not the specific meanings in the detailed wordings, which are essential for accurate translation. If I did think it's completely obvious/w/o debatable ambiguities, I wouldn't have started this info request section here in the 1st place! ^^ --210 19:22, 10 July 2007 (MST)
I have no idea what distinctions you're trying to draw here, therefore I'm not going to argue with you about this. Kerochan no Miko 23:25, 10 July 2007 (MST)
I thought the distinction I drew was quite obvious (!), but nevermind, then. DEN, I don't get it from the link you made above (I didn't check the whole page this morning because I was in a hurry, but now I've scrolled it down to the bottom). It's a blog? --210 06:09, 11 July 2007 (MST)
You often think you're making sense when you aren't. All I know is that there have been extensive debates about what on earth the AQ is trying to say with that phrase. Kerochan no Miko 14:28, 11 July 2007 (MST)
And you often think I'm not making sense when I am. lol I don't know about the debates, but to me, the overall meaning of that phrase is pretty obvious, but I'm not sure how it should be accurately translated, especially as the Japanese themselves are inconsistent in their own rendition of this often mentioned phrase. Hence I request an official rendition here, if it exists at all. --210 18:50, 11 July 2007 (MST)
210, as a native English speaker with the writing experience I have, when I say that your arguments aren't making sense, they aren't making sense. Sorry. And when even you say that you aren't sure how the phrase should be accurately translated, I'm further confused as to how you can think that the "meaning is obvious." Kerochan no Miko 19:12, 11 July 2007 (MST)
Ok, consider it as the bad English of me as a non-native English speaker, then. ^^ As I've said, never mind about that "obvious" thing if you don't get it. Now I wonder if the phrase has ever been in written form in official materials. *crossing fingers* --210 21:54, 11 July 2007 (MST)
I'm sorry, 210, but that's the only link Google could come up with for enough of that phrase, meaning it was never officially written down. -- DENelson83 19:17, 12 July 2007 (MST)
Use the Japanese Google! You'll come up w/ loads of links, & you'll also find the various renditions of the phrase. But you're probably right regarding the official thing. Anyway, thx again. ^^ --210 21:26, 12 July 2007 (MST)

Stars manga

Is there anywhere is can still buy the stars manga, or any of the sailor moon mangas other than ebay now?

If you mean the Mixx translation, I don't know why you WOULD want that, but no, you probably can't get it in stores now. It's been out of print for years. eBay will likely be your best option, or you can wait to see if Tokyopop's succesfull in reobtaining the license.--Sailor Biccy 10:19, 17 August 2007 (MST)
Amazon.com and Barnesandnoble.com are currently still selling new, used, and collectible mangas. Some are a bit pricey.
A question I have regarding the Stars manga series:
Is there a reason why there are two different covers for volume 1 of Stars [Tokyopop version]? Does anyone know why this is? There is one with Eternal Sailor Moon on it and then there is one with the inner and outer senshi. Are they different? I can't find the answer to this! Thanks! (This unsigned comment was left by Shimattasan, April 27, 2009)

Birth days

Is it just me or no one ever mentioned the birth dates of the Senshi and of everyone else...? For example, I just looked up Setsuna Meioh and I didn't see her date of birth... (This unsigned comment was left by 82.76.165.70)

Seeing as how this is a wiki, all the information here is added by users. If the information is not present in an article, it's because people are too busy complaining that it isn't there to add it. Kerochan no Miko 03:17, 26 August 2007 (MST)

The most powerfull

Well.... the thing is, who is the most powerful Senshi known? I would suspect that either Sailor Cosmos or Sailor Galaxia... I rather think that Cosmos is more powerfull cuz she defeated Chaos, while Galaxia never managed to get rid of Chaos... And, after these two, I think the 3rd most powerful should be Saturn, right? She has the power to destroy a whole planet, and nobody has that much power, except Cosmos and Galaxia... Also: who are more powerful: The Outer Senshi or the Starlights? Both are stronger than the Inner Senshi, and that is known, but who, of these 2 grops has more power? I would put aside Saturn from the Outer Senshi, so, just considering Uranus, Neptune and Pluto... I would think that the powers are quite equal between these 2 groups... Is it correct or not?

We never really get a solid answer but in the anime Uranus (with Galaxia's bracelets) used World Shaking and was countered by Fighter's "Star Serious Laser". Both attacks seemed even but World Shaking won out. Take that as you will.--Sailor Biccy 12:28, 26 August 2007 (MST)

Real Senshi vs. Fake Senshi

Are Sailors Lethe, Mnemosyne, Phi and Chi also fake Sailor Senshi like Sailor Animamates? And are the dead Senshi like Chuu, Coronis, Cucoon etc. also real Senshi or fake ones? I suppose that since their Crystals were taken to Galaxia, this would mean that they (Chuu, Coronis etc.) were real Senshi...

Chuu, Coronis, Cocoon, Lethe, and Mnemosyne are all real Sailor Senshi. Phi and Chi are left vague, but since they don't follow the Animamate naming patern they're likely real Senshi too.--Sailor Biccy 12:27, 26 August 2007 (MST)

How Old Are All The Senshi in Stars?

This might be kinda obvious, but I was wondering how old exactly are all the senshi supposed to be by the time Stars rolls around? If Usagi and the group went from 8th grade to 9th, then wouldn't they be 15? I heard otherwise that they are 16. How many birthdays did Usagi celebrate throughout the whole series? Can anyone cite speific episodes where birthdays appear? How old would that make the outer senshi? At the very end of episode 200 Usagi says that she is 16 years old. Kerochan no Miko 21:42, 4 September 2007 (MST)
At the beginning of the series, she says she is 14 and in episode 101, "Usagi in Tears! Glass Shoes for Her Birthday" she turns 15. Like Kerochan said, at the end of episode 200, she says she is 16. ABOUT SAILOR MOON LIVE LOCATIONS

I am a great sailor moon fan, and maybe I will go to Tokyo soon for holiday! I would really love to go to the places where the live action series took place, but I only know some of them

One of them is the bay near Rainbow bridge in the first episode. Some fighting scenes take place just by the City Hall

But there are others I have no idea and would like to know such

Where Ami takes classes from, and the amusement park where they go in the first episodes or the kind of museum they usually fight in..

Thanks for the Sailor moon wikipedia! (This unsigned comment was left by anonymous user 213.97.3.82)

See if this helps. ^^ --210 18:56, 17 September 2007 (MST)

Nakayoshi popularity polls?

Are there any fansites which document the results of the Nakayoshi Sailor Moon character popularity polls (as mentioned here)? -Malkinann 01:26, 26 September 2007 (MST)

VKLL fansubs

When did VKLL start distributing fansubs? (esp. of the Sailor Stars series) I know he stopped in Spring 2006, but when did he begin? -Malkinann 14:19, 6 October 2007 (MST)

Hmm. I personally remember ordering tapes from him in 1997. Archive.org goes back to December 1998 for his website, at which time he offered Stars up to episode 186, with 187-200 scheduled for "early next year." He still has an email address on his website - I'll drop him a message and see what he says. Kerochan no Miko 15:10, 6 October 2007 (MST)

Lunas color?

What is Lunas correct fur color? In the first season she´s black, from R on onwards she seems to be a prussian blue. What´s the reason for the change? FreddyE 12:03, 16 November 2007 (MST)

PGSM Minako

Does anyone know of any interviews with either Naoko Takeuchi or Ayaka Komatsu (or any other relevant people) about why PGSM Minako was so different to anime and manga Minako? (Hyper-serious, idol background, terminal illness, etc.) -Malkinann 15:01, 7 December 2007 (MST)

Setsuna/Trista

At Setsuna Meioh, it says that the dub name Trista was created as a deliberate pun on setsunai. What is the source for this statement? I've googled like mad and can't find it anywhere except here, Wikipedia, and places that have copied one or the other. Was there a magazine interview or something? --Masamage 15:02, 27 December 2007 (MST)

I can't find anything - and until someone gives some evidence, I think the wording of that trivia note needs to be changed. Kerochan no Miko 16:12, 27 December 2007 (MST)

Sailor Luna

Where did the settei image of Sailor Luna drawn by Takeuchi come from? --Masamage 23:19, 21 January 2008 (MST)

Aaaaaaaaaaaanyone? --Masamage 19:42, 21 March 2008 (MST)
I'm not giving you an authoritative, definite answer, but I seem to remember it's on the booklet for a Sailor Moon musical performance, which also features a "chibi" PSM drawn by Takeuchi. I can't give any further details, tho, & I'm not 100% sure if I haven't mixed up things. So take it w/ a grain of salt or you might wanna investigate whether that's true along this line (& tell me the results, if any, here lol). --210 20:57, 21 March 2008 (MST)
If I knew the answer, I would have replied before. The scan I have on my hard drive appears to be from a magazine or something like that, but I believe I got it from a site that has disappeared since, and neglected to record its source. This is all I have. Kerochan no Miko 00:30, 22 March 2008 (MST)
Judging from the kana attached w/ all the kanji in the scan you linked, it's from a printed source expected to be read by small children. So anyone may investigate w/ this lead. --210 04:37, 22 March 2008 (MST)

Real SM intro

Konnichi wa yo!

I actually have been wondering what's the real speech that Sailor Moon (and, Sailor Chibi Moon) uses as her introduction to the enemy:

"Ai to seigi no, Sērā fuku Bishōjo Senshi! Sērā Mūn! Tsuki ni kawatte oshioki-yo!"

or

"Ai to seigi no, Sērā Pretty Soldier Senshi!..."

I've read in some pages that it's the first one, but when listening to it, there's something missing, making it really match the second one.

I've searched for some manga scans, Japanese subbed episodes, or something where I could see the actual writing. Nada!

I will definitely appreciate and thank the help on this.

Arigatō and sayōnara!

I'm not sure what you're listening to, because I hear "seeraa fuku" in the speech. And I just checked my manga and it's definitely there. Kerochan no Miko 07:08, 26 October 2008 (MST)
OK, then. If the manga says that, then that's it! Though I really have to admit that I hear something that doesn't belong to the written.
Again, arigatō and sayōnara!

episode of wedding of usagi and mamoru?

is it in the anime or manga? im going to look for it.

It's in neither (not 100% sure about the manga, tho, but I think so) - it's in PGSM (Special Act). ^^ --210 23:00, 12 November 2008 (MST)
Their wedding is in the manga. Very last act, #52 in the original printing and I think #60 in the reprint. --Masamage 13:54, 20 December 2008 (MST)
Thx for the info - I've never read all the manga, & for the parts that I did, I only skimmed. lol It'd be great if their wedding also appeared in the anime. ^^ --210 23:11, 20 December 2008 (MST)

The Saint Seiya Article

I created an article about Saint Seiya recently and the response to it was very mixed, and the article itself has since been made esoteric. The Saint seiya page contains some of the information on it which I thought made it worth having on the site. Is it worth tweaking a little further or should the page just be deleted?--Ohtori_akio 02:51, 12 January 2010 (MST)

Arguments for whether or not an article should be deleted need to be addressed on the talk page in question, not here. Kerochan no Miko 03:13, 12 January 2010 (MST)

Eternal power up.

In Stars the sailor warriors(inner & outer) give their energy to Usagi to become Eternal Sailor Moon. Is that also possible with another senshi? Like can they also do the same thing to Sailor Mercury?

Ikoku Itoh

Hey, am I posting in the right place? I hope so..

Anyway, I was checking through the different animators for Sailor Moon, and decided to check my favorite anaimators page, Ikuko Ito. I found that there was an episode missing that she had made a contribution to, Episode 61 of the Japanese dub, "Usagi's Big Shock! Mamoru Announces That He's Breaking Up".

(This unsigned comment was left by Joshh, April 27, 2011)

No, this isn't the right place; the discussion should go on her talk page. I'm copying it over there accordingly and continuing in the right place. Kerochan no Miko 17:02, 27 April 2011 (MST)

Sailor Kakyuu

Sailor Kakyuu was not a manga only character. She did in fact appear in the anime, in STARS with The StarLights. (This unsigned comment was left by XxxPunkiexxx, 26 October 2011)

No, she did not. Princess Kakyuu appeared in Stars. Sailor Kakyuu didn't. Kerochan no Miko 13:31, 26 October 2011 (MST)

Interesting Quote

--Katw0man 21:48, 18 February 2012 (MST)

I think it's open to interpretation, especially with the iffy nature of TokyoPop's translations. I personally see them as being just so dedicated to their Princess that they don't want/need a relationship, especially after "Casablanca Memory". Kerochan no Miko 21:50, 18 February 2012 (MST)
Oops! I made a mistake in my opening statement. Venus and Mars are killed by Lead Crow in the manga, NOT Aluminum Siren. I forgot the order in which they appear! --Katw0man 07:56, 19 February 2012 (MST)
