I realize that this is our first "archive" article, but I think we need to establish some standards for them. First of all, I don't think we need three images in the article, especially when two of them are massively huge. Second, I don't see why it can't use the same web template as the "editor's choice" articles. And third, I would really like to see the article focus on the site itself and why it was notable, and less on the maintainer's personal aspirations and future goals. At the moment I'm not convinced that it was notable enough to justify an article (I personally think it probably was, but the article doesn't convince me). I know on the Wikipedia you can have a thumbnail image link to a larger image, but I don't know how to do it or if wikimoon supports that. I thought the images might be overkill but since the two larger ones were screen shots of a site that no longer exists, I thought they might be more important. Feel free to resize, rearrange or remove them if they are too cluttered.  :) I can reformat the article to fit the template, that's a great idea. (can't do it now, gtg, but I can get to it tomorrow or someone else can do it) As far as the information about Merry, I just figured people would be interested in knowing what she is up to. If you really think it's not relevant I have no problem with it being removed. I just figure fans of the site would definately want to know what she was up to these days. I certainly did.
I am not really sure how I could write the page to make it seem as important as it was. I can tell you from my frequent conversations with otaku senshi creators that this site was THE otaku senshi site of the time. I didn't want to include something like "many otaku senshi creators found inspiration from this site and started their own site and characters because of it" since my only source for that is what I've heard from others. Let me know what you think.  :D--Sakky 15:14, 3 August 2007 (MST)
I think this is a wonderful page, for a wonderful ex-website - knowing what Merry Shannon is up to is interesting to me. It's missing the quizzes, though - I remember there being one to determine your realm of influence and another to determine your sailor suit colours. Were there any more? -Malkinann 16:32, 4 August 2007 (MST)
AFAIK we can't do the thumbnail thing - at least, I don't know of a way to do it. I don't know enough about the site to suggest how to write an article about it, but I would suggest dividing the article into sections, because right now it's kind of a jumble of "website" and "fanfic" and "what she's doing now."
As for the bit about otaku senshi creators being inspired by the site, I don't see why there's a problem with saying that. Explain why it inspired them, what was so cool about it, why it was so significant. Right now, the only justification I can see for the article is where it says the site got 150 hits per day, which doesn't really impress me much. Kerochan no Miko 16:39, 4 August 2007 (MST)
Okay, I will get on that this afternoon after work.  :D--Sakky 04:35, 6 August 2007 (MST)

Proposing to move this article to "WikiMoonWeb:Sailor Orion's Refuge," in line w/ similar articles. --210 20:43, 4 August 2007 (MST)

Agreed, I wasn't sure how to do that.--Sakky 04:35, 6 August 2007 (MST)

Why was the Sailor Generator image shrunk? Being able to read the text in the image helps you understand it better. -Malkinann 05:01, 5 August 2007 (MST)

Because it was massively, obtrusively huge and I saw no reason to have it that size. If you need to explain the image, explain the image in the article. Kerochan no Miko 11:13, 5 August 2007 (MST)
It's still pretty apparently a KiSS doll so I think people will get it. We can add a few more details in the article to elaborate if needed.--Sakky 04:35, 6 August 2007 (MST)

What are the "S.E.C." and "Sailor Generator" sites? They've been red-linked, but I don't know if they need articles or articles at those locations, depending on what they are. And can someone explain what these "charms" are that people could trade? Kerochan no Miko 11:18, 5 August 2007 (MST)

The SEC is the Senshi Exchange Club, it's like oneline trading cards for otaku senshi. Charms are usually little pixeled icons. Would this be information that should be included in the article? I think it would make more sense to just make a page for charms. Lots of web cliques use that sort of thing (I think?)--Sakky 04:35, 6 August 2007 (MST)
I've personally never heard of "trading charms" and think that vague reference in the article could use some expansion. Kerochan no Miko 05:15, 6 August 2007 (MST)

Thanks for helping with the cleanup everyone. ^_^--Sakky 04:35, 6 August 2007 (MST)
