Yasha was a Youma owned by Zoisite. She was sent to spy on Nephrite and steal the Silver Crystal if Nephrite was able to obtain it. She first appeared as a beautiful woman wearing a kabuki mask, but then Nephrite used his Starlight Attack on her, revealing her true form.

Trivia
- Her name comes from "夜叉" (same pronunciation), a female demon known in East Asia. It is the Japanese and Chinese name for the Yaksha of Indian mythology.
- When Yasha was defeated in the English dub, she screamed, "You have destroyed me!".
- Yasha was completely cut from the Korean dub.
