Yuu Shirota (城田優), full name Yuu Shirota Fernández, born December 26, 1985, in Tokyo, Japan, was the seventh actor to play Mamoru Chiba/Tuxedo Mask in the Sailor Moon musicals. His first musical was the 2003 show Mugen Gakuen - Mistress Labyrinth (Kaiteiban), and his final show was Shin Kaguya Shima Densetsu in 2004.
Yuu was the second longest-running Tuxedo Mask.
Since graduating from his role, he has performed in the Prince of Tennis musicals and live-action movie.
Personal Trivia
- He is half Spanish and a Spanish national, and can speak both Spanish and Catalan fluently, having lived in Barcelona for several years before moving back to Japan.
- He can play guitar, which he demonstrated on stage in the Starlights - Ryuusei Densetsu musical.
- He starred in the movie Heat Island, in which Keiko Kitagawa (Rei Hino/Sailor Mars in Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon) also played a role.
- His birthday is on the same day as Mew Azama, who played Makoto Kino/Sailor Jupiter in PGSM.
