Ayano Gunji

Ayano Gunji (郡司あやの; real name "郡司彩乃"), born May 24, 1988, in Tokyo, Japan, was the fifth actress to play Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon in the Sailor Moon musicals. Her first musical was Shin Densetsu Kourin in 1998, and her final show was in 2000's Shin / Henshin - Super Senshi e no Michi - Last Dracul Jokyoku.

Ayano was the longest running Chibi Moon actress. She was also the oldest to play Chibiusa in the first run of the musicals, graduating four months before she turned 12; when Petite Étrangère began, Airi Kanda was only two months away from turning twelve.

After her work in the musicals, Ayano was a part of the musical group KING, along with former Sailor Mercury actress Mariya Izawa. She has also performed in other musicals and television dramas.


Ayano performed as Chibiusa/Sailor Chibi Moon in the following musicals:
