Coatl

Coatl (コアトル) was a comet that existed in the canon of the Sailor Moon musicals. It was jealous of the shine of the sun in this Solar System and sought to become a star itself by crashing into the Earth. Princess Moon prevented it from doing so by changing its orbit, but this still caused a massive tidal wave on the Earth which destroyed the kingdom of Artuka.

Coatl returned to the Earth in the present day, five thousand years after its last visit, but was again prevented from destroying the planet through the efforts of the Sailor Senshi.
