Perle was a fairy recruited by Queen Badiane to collect the children of the world. She told them that she wanted to lead them to a dream world where everyone would be happy, but in reality, she wanted to encase them in Dream Coffins and use their dream energy to power the Black Dream Hole.
After Perle met Chibiusa, he realized that what he was doing was wrong, and he helped the Sailor Senshi rescue her from Marzipannu Castle. After he rescued Chibiusa, she rewarded him with a kiss on the cheek.
