FYI... While viewing this attack sequence, I clocked Sailor Moon's rotation at around 400 RPM! -- DENelson83 19:45, 6 August 2006 (MST)

That's what this picture is about... --Rosen 21:55, 6 August 2006 (MST)
I always liked that picture - one has to wonder how the famous klutz Usagi can spin that fast without mishap. ^o^ Kerochan no Miko 22:11, 6 August 2006 (MST)
Wow... First time I've ever seen that particular picture. ¬_¬ I had always gone by this (accessible from here, under "How did She Do It Without Getting Dizzy!?") -- DENelson83 22:30, 6 August 2006 (MST) (amended by DENelson83 22:15, 8 August 2006 (MST))
You know, I just thought of something... What if Sailor Moon isn't spinning at all, but instead, it's just that the "camera" is moving in a circle centred on her while its lens is always pointing at her, just as the near side of the Moon always points toward Earth as it rotates around it? -- DENelson83 22:36, 6 August 2006 (MST)

Mm I think it's not the camera that's moving around her, because her hair and ribbons are blowing in the wind. If she was standing still they would be static. =P--StarFighter 08:10, 7 August 2006 (MST)

My little brother always says he thinks this attack makes Sailor Moon look like a helicopter. GracieLizzie 08:26, 7 August 2006 (MST)
So that's the explanation for the mysterious helicopter noises in PGSM - she was practicing her attack! Kerochan no Miko 15:35, 7 August 2006 (MST)

Not that it's of much consequence, but I was just curious as to why my mentioning of the MOTD's ridiculous shreiks of "LOVELY!!!!!" was removed :p. --Diagnosed 12:54, 20 November 2007 (MST)

Because it's not the attack that caused them to yell "Lovely," it's just a trademark of the Daimons. And thus, it's mentioned in the Daimon article. Kerochan no Miko 13:16, 20 November 2007 (MST)
Okay sounds good to me --Diagnosed 16:01, 21 November 2007 (MST)
I disagree with you, because the Daimon only yelled "Lovely" when they were defeated by Moon Spital Heart Attack. Uranus and Neptune destroyed Mikuji, and Sailor Jupiter defeated Daruma with Sparkling Wide Pressure, and in both cases the Daimon only cried in pain or said its name. So I think it's more likely a trademark of the attack, not the Daimon.--Silver 17 04:23, 11 August 2009 (MST)

There's actually a fourth occasion on which Moon Spiral Heart Attack was defeated, it was by U-Estern in episode 112--Oberon 15:04, 27 February 2011 (MST)

...I keep forgetting we have a decent English-language translation of the manga we're using as an official source now. —.— I really should get that Kodansha release. Silver (talk) 14:04, 19 June 2016 (MST)

The Crystal subs say "Neo-Queen Serenity, lend your power to my rod, Heart Moon Rod" but given that the subs seem to be coming from Toei (or at least someone without a good editor and/or grasp of English phrasing) I'm going to stick with Kodansha until/unless Viz releases a dub or something. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 14:33, 19 June 2016 (MST)
Okay. Also, I actually think it makes sense that Kodansha left "rod" in "lend your power to my rod" out, especially because 杖 ("tsue") here is meant to be read as "roddo" as per the furigana ロッド, so it feels superfluous. Silver (talk) 15:34, 19 June 2016 (MST)
That's pretty much what I was thinking. I guess sometimes Kodansha really did simplify things to make them flow better in English. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 17:06, 19 June 2016 (MST)
