Ascended to the Throne[edit]

I just realised the Queen and King ascended to the throne in the 21st century but all over the site it's listed as 30th Century (I just listed it as such in the 30th Century article). King Endymion tells them in Act 19 that Usagi was 22 when she ascended the thrown in the 21st Century and that all of Crystal Tokyo became ageless, enjoying lifespans of around 1000 years. Does that mean after the Cauldron, they went back to Earth and just hung out for like 6 years? @_@ --Sakky 22:06, 14 October 2006 (MST)

  • cough*Throne*cough* ^_^; Wasn't there some kind of disaster that occurred that made Usagi use the Silver Crystal &c to form Crystal Tokyo? I don't think she would've done something that massive without a good reason. Kerochan no Miko 22:09, 14 October 2006 (MST)
I failed spelling. T_T I don't think there was anything that triggered it, at least, not to my knowledge. It seems like they got married and BAM! Crystal Tokyo. Kakyuu says something along the lines of 'when you took King Endymion's hand and showed the glory of a new Silver Millennium that power shined through time and space' blah blah blah (another indication that 'Silver Millennium' applies to the future as well :3), so it seems that they just kind of got married.
I just noticed the "'Some time after the twentieth century, the Earth was struck by an unspecified disaster, resulting in the entire Earth being frozen for centuries. Through Serenity's power, the populace was eventually revived, and she became ruler of Earth as a result.'" part in the article that you are referring to. Is there any citation for this in the manga or anime or is this just speculation? I have more than one manga source that says she ascended the throne (<- ^^;) in the 21st Cent.
I've got it! It's a conflict with the anime (go figure). Episode 83, from Hotoshi Doi's site: "Sometime in the future, the world will undergo a frozen sleep. Neo-Queen Serenity used her power to awaken it, and then created the Utopia known as Crystal Tokyo. However, in order to do this, the people of Earth had to undergo a type of purification by her crystal. There were those who didn't want to be cleansed by the crystal and rebelled." So, in the anime that happens and in the manga, it don't! XD How are we going to present this??? @_@ Stupid anime changing things/making them up.--Sakky 22:40, 14 October 2006 (MST)

Alignment[edit]

I'd probably still class her as Moon Kingdom alignment, myself... Dooky 14:53, 24 June 2006 (MST)

I don't know - IMO, she's mot really Moon Kingdom, per se. She's more Earth-affiliated in the future. :) - The Nani Mouse
I see what you mean... perphaps 'Moon Kingdom' is a slightly misleading name for the affiliation. It should really be something like 'Solar System Sailor Senshi' but that's kind of unwieldy. Dooky 15:43, 24 June 2006 (MST)
Maybe it could be both 'Sailor Senshi' and 'Crystal Tokyo'? :) - The Nani Mouse
Yeah... you could change the text to 'Crystal Tokyo' but keep the colour as yellow, I guess. That would work. ^_^ Dooky 16:04, 24 June 2006 (MST)
No problem at all. :) - The Nani Mouse

Image[edit]

Er...how is that a "better" image? Kerochan no Miko 23:23, 26 August 2006 (MST)

DENelson, is there a reason why you're communicating through cloaked comments on the article page instead of here where I asked the question? Kerochan no Miko 23:40, 26 August 2006 (MST)
Seriously, don't do that. Your comment may be missed, it's confusing to other editors, it makes you look like you're being evasive and... well, it's pointless. Any issues regarding the image can be discussed here. dooky 23:48, 26 August 2006 (MST)
[bites tongue, hard enough to make it bleed] Fine...
neoqueen.jpg is not really a suitable image, because you can see the upper-right part of Sailor Moon's head at the lower-right corner of the image. -- DENelson83 01:26, 27 August 2006 (MST)
Wooo... I've learnt a cool new Wiki trick now. Kekeke... (j/k) How about zooming in the img for now till a better one is found? 210 04:13, 27 August 2006 (MST)
And now that you've actually told me what the problem is, I've fixed it. Wasn't that easy? Kerochan no Miko 14:23, 27 August 2006 (MST)

Regnal name[edit]

How come she doesn't get a more conventional regnal name as Queen of Crystal Tokyo? I'd have thought she'd be known as "Queen Serenity II". -- DENelson83 23:01, 26 August 2006 (MST)

They're different kingdoms. The Silver Millennium was thousands of years ago, and based in a totally different place. The "Neo" is there for our benefit, I think, to differentiate her from the original Serenity.
And regarding the page move... wouldn't it have been better to simply remove the offending hyphens? Especially as we now have a load of articles that used to link here linking to a redirect instead. dooky 23:06, 26 August 2006 (MST)
Problem solved. I simply blitzed in the extra hyphens. -- DENelson83 23:38, 26 August 2006 (MST)
Well, personally I preferred the name without the hyphen, but whatever. dooky 23:49, 26 August 2006 (MST)

Two different people?[edit]

> She projected her spirit into Sailor Moon in order to break Wiseman's hold over Black Lady,...

This statement makes an implicit claim that Sailor Moon and Neo-Queen Serenity are two completely different people, when in fact they are one and the same. Can this be changed? -- DENelson83 17:38, 27 August 2006 (MST)

In this regard they were effectively two different people. Usagi and Future Usagi, acting independently of each other. Unless I'm forgetting something important. dooky 18:11, 27 August 2006 (MST)
As in they were two different physical bodies, born out of different parents. Usagi and Future Usagi are still one and the same. -- DENelson83 19:00, 3 September 2006 (MST)
They were one and the same but at the same time they were two people occupying two different places in space and time. Kerochan no Miko 19:15, 3 September 2006 (MST)
DENelson: I know, but at most I think this is a question of semantics. If a future version of me came back in time and took control of present-me, then from my perspective I would still be being controlled by an outside force. We know they're the same person from different points in time, the article makes that clear. But in this specific case, they are acting independently of each other. dooky 19:19, 3 September 2006 (MST)

Musicals[edit]

I don't remember ever seeing Marina as Neo Queen Serenity, only Fumina. Of the musicals I've seen starring her, Shin Kaguya (and the Kaiteiban) didn't, Starlights didn't, Mugen (and the Kaiteiban) didn't, Ai no Sanctuary had a Serenity, but it was played by someone else, and the same goes for Black Lady Kaiteiban (she did wear a spiffy dress, but it was when she was Usagi, captive on Nemesis, and not NQS). Anyone catch something I didn't, or did she play her in a show I haven't watched? Michie 20:29, 27 August 2006 (MST)

She was the voice of NeoQueen Serenity in Ai no Sancuary(and I think Black Lady) but it was a boddy double acculay playing the body(sice Marina can't be in two places at once),Anza also played her very shortly in Stars Kaiteban. SailorYavin

Cleansing[edit]

Some time after Neo-Queen Serenity came into power, she initiated a cleansing of all of the people on Earth using the Silver Crystal. Some people refused to be purified and they rebelled.

When was this mentioned? I seem to remember that they rebelled because they didn't like her rule, not because she wanted to cleanse everybody (though it's likely I'm remembering wrong, considering I haven't watched the R season for a long time). Anyway, some clarification would be nice. Elanorea 09:38, 21 January 2007 (MST)

Episode 83. See Hitoshi Doi's transcript here - quoted in part:
Sometime in the future, the world will undergo a frozen sleep. Neo-Queen Serenity used her power to awaken it, and then created the Utopia known as Crystal Tokyo. However, in order to do this, the people of Earth had to undergo a type of purification by her crystal. There were those who didn't want to be cleansed by the crystal and rebelled. Together, Endymion and Serenity defeated the rebellion. Those who still refused cleansing chose to leave Earth and were never heard from since...that is until the Dark Moon attack.

Ages[edit]

I didn't think that the Outers ever showed up in the future - am I remembering incorrectly? And if not, how do we know how old they were when they stopped aging, if we never saw them? Kerochan no Miko 17:45, 9 October 2007 (MST)
