Talk:Sailor Moon Crystal Actors
The articles for the Sailor Moon Eternal-only actors (except for Taishi Murata, but for good reason) currently just say that these actors play their respective roles "in Sailor Moon Crystal," i.e. the continuity as a whole. The new articles for the Sailor Moon Cosmos-only actors, however, say that these actors play their roles "in Sailor Moon Cosmos," i.e. only the one particular "season" in which those characters appeared. Should we have some sort of convention as to how we handle Sailor Moon Crystal actor articles? If I compare them to the 90s anime actor articles, I notice that the latter always refers to the seasons (when the character is specific to one particular season, of course). For example: Shiho Niiyama [...] was a voice actress who played Kou Seiya/Sailor Star Fighter in the Stars season [...] of the Sailor Moon anime.
Should we do the same with all of the season/movie-specific Crystal actor articles or just use "in Sailor Moon Crystal" all the time? PrinceEarth (talk) 02:20, 17 January 2023 (EST)
- I consider the Crystal movies to be basically the same as the anime seasons, since they're part of the direct continuity, but "in the Stars season of the anime" sounds a lot better than, say, "in the Sailor Moon Cosmos movie of Crystal" or something along those lines. I haven't figured out a good way to phrase it, so it probably should just say "in Sailor Moon Crystal" for everything, but that feels wrong, so that's why I've apparently been inconsistent. You're right, though, we do need to establish something consistent for phrasing. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 11:08, 17 January 2023 (EST)
