Admins pls chk the source code of this article - the devils are there. 210.245.162.185 06:03, 11 July 2006 (MST)

Well noticed. Said IP has been banned forever. Dooky 07:10, 11 July 2006 (MST)
We just got another spambot in this very same article, and it occurs to me that this article was actually created under slightly weird circumstances. Could this be some sort of spambot technique? If it is then it's rubbish, because their spam links don't even show up on the page, but we should keep an eye on this page just in case. Dooky 17:01, 12 July 2006 (MST)
The bot might have been deliberately designed to not show up the links except on the source code. And yes, we should keep a close eye - bots can evolve, who knows what will be the next trick? 210 23:32, 12 July 2006 (MST)
Hmm, I just fiddled around with the code and it seems you're right: the links are designed to be hidden (I thought for a while that they were colliding with the stub template somehow). Maybe this is for search engine indexing? I dunno, but it's a particularly annoying form of vandalism since it can't easily be seen. Dooky 23:46, 12 July 2006 (MST)

And the fact that this page was created in the 1st place thru the address now you've banned shows that the vandalist might have considerable knowledge about Sailormoon. So this could be a premeditated & targeted attack rather than ordinary bots lurking around the net. Motivation still unknown though. 210.245.162.185 02:27, 13 July 2006 (MST)

Nah, I think it's a bot. Yanagawa was one of our "Wanted Articles" on the front page: it just had to find a red link and click it to create the page. Incidentally, two out of the three IP addresses trace back to Korea, the third traces back to Japan. Dooky 05:56, 13 July 2006 (MST)
Oh, I see. So Tiger's Eye is in grave danger now! Someone help him! lol 210 06:06, 13 July 2006 (MST)
