- The difference is that even in the German dub, Mamoru was usually stated to be a university student prior to this episode, and just calling the festival a "school festival" implies that Mamoru still goes to school in the colloquial sense of the term that excludes universities and similar institutions (at least that's how Germans use the term "school"), which would mean that he is on the same level of education as the Inner Senshi. I'm trying to think how to rephrase the note to convey that information for the wiki's primary audience, since school/university festivals in that sense don't really exist in North America and the implications you mentioned are lost.
