I love that screenshot. The only one that makes me laugh more is a few seconds later, when Minako is legging it from Rei's house ^_^ dooky 19:10, 18 August 2006 (MST)

Yeah ^_^ Minako is a riot in this episode. Actually one thing that shocked me in this episode as I was just watching a bit of it now... it seems Minako, without having to transform, can jump from Usagi garden to her first floor/second storey balcony with ease O_o. I thought the girls could only pull of stuff like that when transformed! GracieLizzie 19:19, 18 August 2006 (MST)
I guess that's anime for you. reminds me of my fabourite scene in Super GALS, where Ran is being told off in the first-floor teacher's office, sees her friend being hassled outside, and leaps out of the window to help her. Only for her elderly teacher to leap out after her, with a less graceful landing... dooky 19:49, 18 August 2006 (MST)

Trivia - Minako Roomanji[edit]

No. When I wrote that trivia note I said that Minako was added in roomanji in the english dub, you completely changed my meaning. It does NOT say Minako in the original Japanese version it is blank. It is ADDED in the english dub. Possibly to imply that even in the english dub her name is Minako "Mina" Aino but this is never stated anywhere else. Please check your information before completely altering someone's note. --Minakoaino 00:57, 11 June 2010 (MST)

It does say Minako (well, MINAK[heart]) in the original Japanese version. Please check your information before getting offended when you're fact-checked. Kerochan no Miko 01:25, 11 June 2010 (MST)

Trivia Note[edit]

I removed the note about the German dub because it's going to need a lot more than a similar phrasing to say definitively that Artemis was quoting the Bible there. Kerochan no Miko (talk) 19:54, 30 August 2021 (EDT)

Understandable. I should have explained that "Father, forgive them; for they do not know what they are doing" is translated as "Vater, vergib ihnen; denn sie wissen nicht, was sie tun" in German¹, which means "Father, forgive them; because they do not know what they are doing," which is what Artemis essentially said word for word but related to Rei and Minako (Please, Rei. Forgive Minako, because she does not know what she is doing).
¹ At least in the "Luther Bible 2017," which is one of the generally accepted translations over here. PrinceEarth (talk) 06:39, 31 August 2021 (EDT)
