Akiyama is the family name of three anime only characters:
- Higure Akiyama, the Home Economics teacher of Usagi, Ami, and Naru, she appears in Dream of a White Dress! Usagi Becomes a Bride and is one of Nephrite's victims.
- Miharu Akiyama, a young swordswoman who was befriended by Chibiusa, she appears in Try for the Best of Japan! The Worries of a Beautiful Girl Swordsman and is one of Tiger's Eye's targets.
- Fuyumi Akiyama, the above girl's mother.
