Sailor Moon in Indonesia is an article about Sailor Moon Manga and Anime in Indonesia.

Anime

Sailor Moon Anime version was first airing on Indosiar from 1995 until the Mid of 2000. All seasons episodes was aired except special episodes and episode 89 never aired. The Indonesian kept original names of characters except Chibiusa that dubbed into Usagi Kecil(means Little Usagi in bahasa Indonesia), and most villains name was miss-spelled, and spelling of their names was mostly taken from romanized version of theirs Katakana(For example, Calaveras was named: Karaberasu, Mimmete was named Mimetto). Sailor Moon 1st season first aired around January 1995, the time slot was GMT+7 05.00 PM, every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. Later it was rerun with time slot GMT+7 07.00 am every Sunday. R, S, and Supers seasons also aired on same time slot, and later rerun on GMT+7 03.30PM, from Tuesday to Friday every weeks. Sailor Stars was aired on same time slot of R, S, and Supers Reruns. Only 1st opening clip of 1st seasons, 1st OP clip of R, and S Opening that included Sailor Uranus, Neptune, Pluto, and Hotaru plus Super Sailor Moon(but clip naked Usagi that came out from Holy Grail then transform into Super Sailor Moon was removed). The theme song itself was using Indonesian version of Moonlight Densetsu but the lyrics actually rewritten rather than translated.

Sailor Moon was got same level cencorship as Korean version did, especially nudity scenes. For example: In episode when Sailor Mercury gained ability to perform aqua rhapsody, the scene when Ami naked was completely removed. Ironically in the last episode of sailor stars, Usagi was kept to be fully naked without any cencort like white dress in Korean version or any frame cut. Transformation clips also shortened, For Inner and Senshi, The transformation similiar to Sega Saturn's Sailor Moon Various Emotion. Sailor Moon's Ones, only Moon Prism Power Make Up, Crisis Make Up and Moon Eternal Make Up's clips kept in full duration. Other Transformations was started with Sailor Moon already worn her fuku but before wearing gloves and boots. Death and violence like when Rei slaps Usagi and Death of Inners in episode 45 never got any cencort.
