Charm Buster in the anime |
Charm Buster was an attack used by Mimete in the anime, manga, and musicals.
In the anime, the attack was depicted as star-shaped waves that emitted a distorted supersonic noise, causing pain to those who heard it. Mimete usually performed the attack on an audience after she had made her appearance on stage. In episode 120, she also used it to incapacitate Sailor Venus and Sailor Mercury.
In Act 26 of the manga, Mimete tried to use this attack against Sailor Venus, but as it was blocked by Venus Wink Chain Sword, its intended effect was unknown.
In the musicals, the attack was first used in Mugen Gakuen - Mistress Labyrinth to knock down Usagi and Minako.
Trivia
- In episode 113 of the English dub only, the name of this attack was changed to "Stage Fright."
