«Crescent Boomerang» is an attack used by Sailor Venus in which she trow her Moon Compact at her an enemy. It can either destabilize him or kill him by cutting him into pieces due to the sharpness of the compact. It's also the very first attack ever used by Sailor Venus, when she join the other Sailors in the second volume of the manga.

Manga

This attack is used third time in the manga;

Venus trowing her compact at Zoisite - Once in the second manga at Act 7, When Venus first arrived she used it on Zoisite, in order to protect Sailor Moon whom Zoisite was attending to kill. The compact cut Zoisite who died shortly after. - Second time in Chibiusa's Picture Diary 1, Venus trow it at Lyrica Hubert's mother. - Last time, Venus used it on Rei in order to destabilized her while she was possessed by the Genius loci that was attacking T.A. Girls' Academy in "Exam Battle 3". Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon In PGSM; as Sailor V as well as Sailor Venus, Minako used a similar item; the same ways and for the same purposes that the Minako from the manga. This item is know as the Crescent Moon Cutter. First used as Sailor V in Act Zero and last used as Sailor Venus in Act 17 when, for the first time, a Youma succeed in deflecting the compact.
