Game Machine refers specifically to the anime only character who was responsible for directing and advising Luna in regards to training the Sailor Senshi in the first season. He appeared as disembodied voice communicating through the Sailor V game located in Game Center Crown. This was actually Artemis, but he continued to communicate with Luna this way even after he and Sailor Venus joined up with the rest of the Sailor Senshi. He was discovered by an unimpressed Luna when he damaged the equipment he was using to communicate in this manner and his image was broadcast on the game's screen.
Trivia
- The Game Machine only appeared in this manner in the Sailor Moon anime, but the Sailor V game itself appeared in the manga and in Codename: Sailor V. There it was used to train the Senshi and deliver certain items to them, and functioned as the entrance to the Secret Base.
- There was a similar character to the Game Machine in Codename: Sailor V. Boss was a disembodied voice who communicated with Minako and Artemis through Minako's transformation pen.
- In the English dub, Central Control was portrayed as being real even after it was revealed to have been Artemis in disguise.
- In the original version, the password Luna used to access the Game Machine was "The rabbit in the moon pounds the mochi." Artemis responds with "Moon Rice Cakes are Sticky" and Luna counters with "When I grilled them they puffed up"
