Moon Gorgeous Meditation in the anime |
Moon Gorgeous Meditation was an attack performed by Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon. In the manga, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon performed this attack together or individually, using their Kaleidomoon Scopes. In the anime, Sailor Moon would use this attack to finish off the enemy after Sailor Chibi Moon had called forth Pegasus. However, they also performed this attack together once in the SuperS movie.
In the musical Kakyuu-Ouhi Kourin, Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon performed a version of this attack called Moon Gorgeous Double Meditation (ムーン・ゴージャス・ダブル・メディテーション).
Trivia
- In the first two English dubbed episodes of Sailor Moon SuperS before Pegasus charged up Sailor Moon's brooch, Moon Gorgeous Meditation was dubbed "Moon Super Moon Target" and "Super Moon Target" respectively. In the original Japanese version, Sailor Moon did not say anything for the attack before she received the power from Pegasus.
- In the 2005 film War of the Worlds, this attack could be heard playing on a television in the background of one scene.
