Trivia
- In the continuity of Sailor Moon Crystal, these movies featured numerous firsts:
- For characters, the Shadow Galactica, Three Lights/Sailor Starlights, Chibi Chibi/Sailor Chibi Chibi Moon/Sailor Cosmos, Princess Kakyuu/Sailor Kakyuu, Chaos/Sailor Chaos, and Guardian Cosmos made their only appearances. It was the only time the Senshi killed by the Shadow Galactica were mentioned, and one of them, Sailor Coronis, was also seen in the movies. It was the only time Usagi referred to Minako as "Mina-P," and the only time that Sailor Senshi other than Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon referred to themselves with a prefix before the "Sailor" part of their Senshi names, as the Guardian Senshi gave their introductory speeches using their "Eternal" titles.
- Items seen for the first time included the Galactica Bracelets, Saffer Crystal, Sailor Change Stars, Incense Burner, and Garden Crystal. The second movie was the only time the Cosmos Crystal, also referred to as "Cosmos Seed," was mentioned.
- The terms "Star Seed" and "Stars of Darkness" were introduced.
- Transformations used for the first time included Silver Moon Crystal Power, Make Up, Fighter Star Power, Make Up, Maker Star Power, Make Up, Healer Star Power, Make Up, Chibi Chibi Crystal Power, Make Up, Pink Moon Crystal Power, Make Up, and Kinmoku Star Power, Make Up. Sailor Tin Nyanko, Sailor Galaxia, and Sailor Cosmos also received brief, wordless transformations.
- Attacks used for the first time included Galactica Crunch, Space Turbulence, Submarine Violon Tide, Star Sensitive Inferno, Galactica Wave, Star Serious Laser, Star Gentle Uterus, Galactica Tornado, Galactica Puppet, Galactica Myosotis Alpestris, Pink Lady's Freezing Kiss, Amazoness Jungle Arrow, Starlights Royal Straight Flush, Galactica Plants Blizzard, Kinmoku Fusion Tempest, Galactica Space Turbulence, Galactica Glaive Surprise, Galactica Violon Tide, Galactica Cannon, Venus Love and Galactica Shock, Galactica Gale, Galactica Planet Attack, Silver Moon Crystal Power Therapy Kiss, Galactica Inflation, Galactica Super String, and Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power. Starlight Honeymoon Therapy Kiss was given an animated sequence expanded from its use in Sailor Moon Eternal. The second movie also marked the only appearances of the fully animated attack sequence of Silence Glaive Surprise, as well as the second version of Chronos Typhoon.
- It was the only time the Lambda Power appeared.
- Places seen for the first time included Galactica Palace, Charon Castle, Miranda Castle, Triton Castle, the Zero Star Gate, Desert River of Oblivion, Desert River of Memory, Lethe, Mnemosyne, Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon's graveyard, the Star Garden, and the Galaxy Cauldron (although Charon Castle, Miranda Castle, and Triton Castle were mentioned for the first time in Sailor Moon Eternal). It was the only time Sagittarius Alpha Star, Coronis, Mau, Kinmoku, the Tankei Kingdom, Chuu, Mermaid, and Sagittarius Zero Star were mentioned.
- These movies revealed that Phobos and Deimos were from Coronis, that Luna and Artemis were from Mau, and that Queen Metalia, Death Phantom, Pharaoh 90, and Queen Nehellenia were, as Stars of Darkness, incarnations of Chaos.
- This was the only time Wakana Yamazaki played Ikuko Tsukino. In the previous seasons, she was played by Yuko Mizutani.
- This was the only installment of Crystal to feature Tomoya Takahashi as its director.
- When Sailor Pluto, Sailor Neptune, and Sailor Uranus traveled to their respective castles, their signature sound effects could be heard, but Sailor Pluto was accompanied by Sailor Neptune's sound effect, Sailor Neptune by Sailor Uranus', and Sailor Uranus by Sailor Pluto's.
- When Eternal Sailor Moon used Silver Moon Crystal Eternal Power against Chaos and flew toward it, brief flashes of the planetary symbols of the Guardian and Outer Senshi were visible, followed by Sailor Moon's own crescent moon symbol.
