Sailor Moon SuperS refers to the fourth season of the Sailor Moon anime.
Summary[edit]
The guardian of Elysion, Helios, is attacked and imprisoned by Queen Nehellenia, who wants the power of the Golden Crystal that he protects. His spirit escapes in the form of a Pegasus, and he seeks out Chibiusa for aid. As she befriends this new ally, the Dead Moon Circus arrives in Tokyo, and their minions, the Amazon Trio, the Amazoness Quartet, and a number of various Lemures, begin searching for the Dream Mirror in which Pegasus is hiding.
With new powers granted to them by Pegasus, the Sailor Senshi combat these foes, and eventually confront Queen Nehellenia herself when she uses the power of the Golden Crystal to free herself from her long confinement. The Amazoness Quartet turn against their former leader and help the Senshi steal the Golden Crystal back from her, then combine its power with the power of the dreaming people of Earth to destroy the Dead Moon Circus and seal Queen Nehellenia away once more.
