::Well we can't exactly dance around the continuity of Another Story forever.  Like it or not, it actually does explain lots of actual events in both the past and future of the anime and manga, like the cataclysmic event that froze the world or how Metallia arrived on Earth to begin with. I'm not convinced Tomoe belongs in the 'transformed into monsters of the day' category. Germatoid isn't a monster of the day in any usual sense, and Tomoe is never physically transformed (Germatoid actually leaves his body before attacking). dooky 22:00, 25 August 2006 (MST)

It say's that his English dub name is Doctor Tomoe. Wow. And I thought the CWi dub would be a bit more creative! Also, have you noticed that Kakeru ("S" Movie) looks a lot like Prof. Tomoe? (This unsigned comment was left by MusicallyObsessedBoi, June 28, 2009)

SM: AS[edit]

Should we include Tomoe's character development and role in the Another Story RPG? It is the only time in which Saturn gets closure from her father's original personality, telling her that he loved her.Hattrickftw 21:07, 17 December 2012 (MST)

I'm somewhat reluctant to include "video game" sections with equal emphasis as the main three canons, given that video games (and Another Story in particular) are a special sort of continuity of their own and not part of the main storyline. I'm inclined to say it deserves mention somewhere, but exactly how is another question. Kerochan no Miko 21:45, 17 December 2012 (MST)
Well we can't exactly dance around the continuity of Another Story forever. Like it or not, it actually does explain lots of actual events in both the past and future of the anime and manga, like the cataclysmic event that froze the world or how Metallia arrived on Earth to begin with. Important stuff. As anyone who's ever played it can attest to, Another Story isn't just a video game tie-in, it is quite literally an entire arc in video game format that lies mostly within the anime canon the same way the movies do...except the movies don't address major plot points, while this does. Calling it even a filler arc would be a stretch considering how much it delves within giving important character development like Sage Beryl, Dr. Tomoe, Sailor Jupiter, Sailor Venus and several others, along with plot development. I understand its confusing. Another Story somehow exists "within" the anime and manga continuities, giving important character development and plot information, instead of just lying in a separate continuity all together. Its not a fighting game with tiny plot, it really does have the structure of a manga arc. I agree, it shouldn't be given equal status as the main three....but it has to at least be mentioned often or we'd be denying an entire arc worth of important information about different characters, especially of this was indeed all created by Naoko like it claims and proves with certain plot points.Hattrickftw 01:19, 18 December 2012 (MST)
Maybe mentioning such info in the trivia notes of the articles concerned? --210 01:39, 18 December 2012 (MST)
Have just noticed the latest edit has been reverted, so maybe mentioning that in the AS article itself? --210 01:44, 18 December 2012 (MST)
I never said that it shouldn't be mentioned at all, simply that I'm not sure how to format the article to include information like that. Another Story is its own continuity that combines elements of the anime and manga and then adds its own, much like one of the musicals, and I want to make it clear that it is its own entity and shouldn't be confused with the main canon. Kerochan no Miko 07:47, 18 December 2012 (MST)
Another alternative would be a dedicated section for AS, below all the sections of other continuities, in the articles concerned, then, or simply putting the info into the game section. --210 02:29, 19 December 2012 (MST)
Another Story most definitely does not get its own dedicated section. I suppose we could do a "video games" section after the musicals one and mention significant roles he played in games. Kerochan no Miko 07:57, 19 December 2012 (MST)
