This is coming along very nicely. I hope the other senshi's pages can live up to what we're seeing here.--WikiSysop 01:53, 23 May 2006 (MST)

Thanks! I am quite satisfied with the article myself, though I think it's still far from complete :) It needs much more Live Action stuff, including info about Darkury (I'm wondering if we should have a separate Dark Sailor Mercury article). Some Silver Millennium background would be nice, too, if there is any to be found. But I think I'll leave that to the experts. --Mercurian 09:52, 23 May 2006 (MST)
At some point it might be an idea to separate the main body of the article (and indeed the other Senshi articles) into sections dealing specifically with the anime, manga etc. As for a separate Darkury article... if there's enough material for it, go for it. I'd like to eventually have separate articles for "Sailor Mercury", "Ami Mizuno" and possibly even "Super Sailor Mercury"... but there's no point in making these when we don't yet have the material to fill them. Once this article has reached a sufficient size we can begin splitting it up (note that this is why I favour linking Ami Mizuno to the redirect page rather than directly here, because it'll save time if and when we make a proper article on Ami). Dooky 11:36, 23 May 2006 (MST)
Out of curiosity, did we have a "Trivia" section for Mercury? The rest of the senshi have one.--WikiSysop 11:42, 23 May 2006 (MST)
Not yet, but anyone who wishes to submit trivia can create one. :-)
@Dooky: I'm all in favor of separating the "Ami Mizuno" and "Sailor Mercury" articles. The amount of material should be no problem IMO. Splitting off "Super Sailor Mercury" would overdo it, though. --Mercurian 12:40, 23 May 2006 (MST)

I have an amusing trivia entry but I don't know if it's appropriate to the kind of character-related trivia we have on this page. (This is a fandom one.) There used to buy a guy who was this famous Sailor Mercury fan, they interviewed him on TV ( http://groups.google.com/group/rec.arts.anime.fandom/msg/329cf20b9cffc18c?&hl=en ) and stories would circulate that he'd go to Taco Bell with a Mercury doll and just stare at it.--WikiSysop 23:02, 23 May 2006 (MST)

I'm curious, but should the lighter shade of blue in PGSM Sailor Mercury be noted in her costume for that section (like Sailor Moon)? I mean, it's still blue, albeit a much lighter shade of blue. WaterKnight 19:25, 2 November 2007 (MST)

Go ahead & do it! ^^ --210 20:46, 2 November 2007 (MST)

Disputed surname[edit]

Could someone please point me to a reference that gives Amy's surname as Mizuno instead of Anderson? I'm not doubting it, it's just that I've never actually seen Mizuno used in the dub. Also, please don't just drop stuff like (disputed) into the middle of articles. It looks unprofessional, and it doesn't take more than a single sentence to describe the situation properly. Dooky 21:00, 28 May 2006 (MST)

Senshi heights[edit]

Where are these heights for the Senshi coming from? As far as I was aware, the only Senshi whose height was ever stated was Sailor Pluto (in one of the guide books, not sure which). I could be wrong, but I'd be interested to know where this information comes from. Dooky 13:27, 18 June 2006 (MST)

Hans once guestimated the heights of all the senshi in Sheer Lunacy but I don't think there's an official statement.--WikiSysop 00:55, 19 June 2006 (MST)

Reorganisation[edit]

I'm afraid there's a bit of repetition here at the moment, since the article mainly comprises lists of attacks and the like. I've had to leave out a lot of PGSM info too, as I don't know much about that series. Dooky 11:54, 24 June 2006 (MST)

Oh yeah - and if you're wondering where some of the character info's gone, it's now over at Ami Mizuno. Dooky 11:56, 24 June 2006 (MST)

Myu actors[edit]

To: Anonymous user
I've reverted your edit for the reason stated by Dooky in your user talk page. Pls add the names of Myu actors as per Sailor Chibi Moon. Thx! 210 17:25, 28 August 2006 (MST)

Mercury Aqua Mist[edit]

I am fairly certain that what were once unnamed instances of fog conjuring by Sailor Mercury in the original manga have now been officially named "Mercury Aqua Mist" in the new cover editions (see new cover edition vol.1 p.116). Should this be added to the list of manga attacks? Davi Williams 18:41, 25 March 2007 (MST)

I don't have the new edition, but it's in Alex Glover's translation, so I'll take your word for it. Kerochan no Miko 18:42, 25 March 2007 (MST)

Princess Mercury[edit]

Princess Mercury redirects here but there's no information about this form. Would it be a 'transformation'? It's more like a past life I guess, but the senshi do get to wear their princess dresses in the manga. --Sakky 19:07, 5 May 2009 (MST)

...oh, right. I think that was something that was going to be worked on and I completely forgot about it. Er. If I recall correctly, it was just made a redirect here until such time as an article was actually made.
I'm not sure what to do with it - since the princess forms only showed up in the manga, they should probably have their own articles? Kerochan no Miko 20:26, 5 May 2009 (MST)
Hmm, I'm not sure about this one. I'd like to have info about the Princesses, but I'm not sure if it's a good idea to just add the info in a different section of the Senshi pages, so I'd like them to have their own articles. Also a separated article for the Sailor Princesses would be okay. --Silver 16:05, 19 September 2009 (MST)
I'd rather not have a "Sailor Princesses" article, given that it's not a real term and it's only a redirect because someone kept trying to create an article about some fanfic thing with that name.
I generally consider having a separate "Princess Mercury" article on the same priority as having, say, "Eternal Sailor Moon" as a separate article. In other words, it should happen eventually, but given how many articles are still stubs and need work well before that, it's not exactly something that needs to happen any time soon.
There should, however, be some kind of mention of the manga princess forms in the Senshi articles, since there is a redirect. Kerochan no Miko 18:45, 19 September 2009 (MST)
Actually I don't like to use fan-created terms (except for Inner Senshi and some other), I used it because I saw it in Alex Glover's site and I supposed it was an official term: "Sailor Princesses of the Solar System" - act 41. --Silver 05:50, 20 September 2009 (MST)

This is the kanji given in Act 23, whereas in Act 2 of the reprint there's one additional kanji. Does that alter the meaning? And could someone add the additional kanji for me? Silver 15:00, 7 May 2011 (MST)
