- This episode marked the last use of the Disguise Pen by Usagi in the anime, and the only time it was used in Sailor Moon R. It would be used one more time by Sailor Venus, in episode 102.
- Sailor Venus used Crescent Beam Shower for the first time in this episode.
- In the English dub, Serena spoke with a British accent when she was disguised as the substitute teacher, even though the "teacher" in the original did not have an accent at all.
- This was Annabelle Roux's final episode voicing Mathilda in the French dub.
