Usagizaru

The usagi-saru (literally "rabbit-monkeys") were a group of mischievous creatures belonging to the Dead Moon Circus which appeared in the musical Sailor Moon SuperS - Yume Senshi - Ai - Eien ni... and the Special musical Show. They were brown and had monkey-like tails, but also had white rabbit ears.

They stole the lunches belonging to the Sailor Senshi, who were out on a picnic in the forest, and when the theft was discovered the Amazon Trio arrived and claimed responsibility for them.

Later on, they showed themselves capable of speech and one of them tried to attack Chibiusa with Spiral Monkey Attack.

Trivia

• There was an animal like an usagi-saru in Sailor Moon SuperS - (Kaiteiban) Yume Senshi - Ai - Eien ni... Saturn Fukkatsu Hen!, along with another brown monkey-like animal with bear ears and one with pig ears, but they were never named and did not play any significant role.
