Hello, and welcome to WikiMoon! Thank you for joining the project and being willing to contribute. We hope you will continue to take part, because we can always use the help of Sailor Moon fans.

You may find these links helpful, if you haven't already seen them:

If you need any help, feel free to ask, either on my talk page or on the Community Portal. Again, thank you for joining, and have fun editing! -Kerochan no Miko 01:31, 15 February 2010 (MST)

What do you mean by a photo gallery? Each of the MOTDs should have a picture in their article.... Kerochan no Miko 11:05, 15 February 2010 (MST)

I'm afraid I don't understand what you're talking about. What does a photo gallery have to do with random trivia? Most of the information you mentioned (powers and abilities, for instance) belongs in the main body of the article anyway, so I'm a little confused. Kerochan no Miko 03:41, 16 February 2010 (MST)
Well, the thing is, this wiki is intended just to be an encyclopedia of information about the MOTDs. What you're describing sounds more like a shrine or an image gallery, which...isn't really the point here. We include images just to illustrate things, such as what the character in question looked like, instead of just throwing in a whole bunch of images for fun. It's certainly a workable idea for a personal website, but not really this one. Kerochan no Miko 03:58, 16 February 2010 (MST)
Where? As in, Japan, or a specific recording studio, or...? Kerochan no Miko 13:07, 16 February 2010 (MST)
Oh, the English dub actors? I don't really know much about that, not being a fan of the dub. Kerochan no Miko 04:28, 17 February 2010 (MST)

JMF, I have removed your note about the dub actress for the Snow Dancers twice now. If something was removed from an article, it's usually done for a reason -- please ask about it on the talk page rather than just re-adding the same thing repeatedly. Kerochan no Miko 12:47, 9 August 2010 (MST)

If an article is wrong then you need to either bring that up on the talk page for the article in question or fix the incorrect information, not just tell me about it. That's the point of a wiki, after all. Kerochan no Miko 08:34, 5 December 2010 (MST)

Hi! It's your friend Guilherme from school. I'm just here to see what is going on, are discussions resolved? You can delete this message after you see it. Thanks for reading. --Guilherme Guerreiro 15:44, 10 December 2010 (MST)

You removed the tag about four hours ago, which was well after I finished making any edits. Kerochan no Miko 07:50, 21 December 2010 (MST)

How are you? Do you feel better? Do you want me to call you?--Guilherme Guerreiro 15:02, 21 December 2010 (MST)

JMF, please stop adding "powers and abilities" subsections to the youma articles -- the format is to include descriptions within the articles themselves. Kerochan no Miko 14:12, 22 December 2010 (MST)

Happy Birthday

Happy Birthday, JMF! ^^ --210 23:38, 22 December 2010 (MST)

Happy Birthday, though I've already given it to you :D. --Guilherme Guerreiro 07:54, 23 December 2010 (MST)

Space-Time_Door

I think in the Sailor Pluto article or the Space-Time_Door it should be noted that Pluto opned the door in episode Journey_to_the_Future!_Battle_in_the_Space-Time_Corridor. Also, this may seem unimportant, In the Simpsons epsiode "'Tis the Fifteenth Season" The couch is a street bench in Japan, and everyone is a famous anime character: Homer is Ultraman, Marge is Jun from Science Ninja Team Gatchaman, Lisa is Usagi Tsukino, the protagonist from Sailor Moon, Bart is Astro Boy and Maggie is Pikachu from Pokémon. Here is a link to prove it: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=T5vuzfdmsDo Maybe that should go in an article somewhere. Thanks! Sailor sunshine 23:38, 26 December 2010 (MST)

Streaming the Sailor Moon Musicals

Hi! Do you know where online I can stream [[Bishoujo_Senshi_Sailor_Moon_Super_Spring_Festival]? Thanks! Starlight84 09:39, 19 January 2011 (MST)

Re: Singers

Yes, I know I left that in the infoboxes yesterday, but after thinking about it I realized it shouldn't have been there in the first place. They didn't actually perform as that character, they simply sang a part of a song that represented that character. Risa Ooki sang "Initial U" but that didn't mean she performed as Haruka, it just meant she sang a song from Haruka's viewpoint. Kerochan no Miko 03:43, 20 February 2011 (MST)

I don't see the comparison, because they weren't singing in a movie. They were singing on a CD of "songs inspired by" a television show. And no, I just said that we shouldn't add Risa Ooki to Haruka's infobox (and definitely not "Amara's" since Risa Ooki had absolutely nothing to do with the dub) for the same reason I took Jennifer Cihi out of Usagi's. Kerochan no Miko 03:53, 20 February 2011 (MST)
The version of "Oh Starry Night" that appeared in episode 48 doesn't sound the same as the version that was on the CD - where is Sandy Howell in the episode credits? Kerochan no Miko 04:15, 20 February 2011 (MST)
You said that "their voices were credited in the episodes just like in movies" but that isn't true. I checked the end credits for episode 48 and in the song credits it said:
"Starry Night" by MICHAEL BENGHIAT & JOHN AUTHOR for THE MUSIC KITCHEN
"Call My Name (And I'll Be There)" by MICHAEL BENGHIAT, JOHN AUTHOR & SANDY HOWELL for THE MUSIC KITCHEN
Those are songwriter credits, not performer. Sandy Howell wasn't credited as the voice of Raye, therefore your claim is incorrect for that episode -- can you prove that any of the others were credited as voicing that character in the episodes those songs appeared?
Basically, I don't understand why they should be credited as actually voicing a role when all they did was sing a song on a CD, or performed a song that was used as a background/inset song and not one performed by the actual character. Kerochan no Miko 04:46, 20 February 2011 (MST)
But my point is that they didn't "provide a singing voice to a character," they simply sang a song that was intended to be from that character's viewpoint. The "technical details" are the very soul of this argument, and you can't try to present them as backing up your point of view and then just ignore them when they turn out to be wrong. If you have no reasoning other than your personal opinion that they "should" be credited then I don't see a point in continuing to argue this. Kerochan no Miko 13:43, 20 February 2011 (MST)
How do you know she sang as Raye in that episode? My point is that she was never credited for it that I've found, so how do you prove that? Kerochan no Miko 13:18, 26 February 2011 (MST)
Okay, so there was inaccurate (or at least unproven) information on the wiki. That's been fixed, thank you for calling it to my attention. Kerochan no Miko 13:08, 27 February 2011 (MST)

Plagiarism

JMF, the information you've been adding to the MotD articles is clearly being taken from the Ultimate Sailor Moon Encyclopedia, even if you're slightly altering some of the wording to make it a less obvious copy/paste job. Please be aware that all edits to this wiki must be your own work and even if you remove a word or two here and there it is still plagiarism and still against the rules of this wiki. Please be certain to write your own additions to the wiki in the future, as any further rules violations will result in your account being banned. Kerochan no Miko 11:34, 11 July 2011 (MST)

If any of your information is taken from another website it's still plagiarism. Kerochan no Miko 11:44, 11 July 2011 (MST)
I'm not sure what you're talking about. I know I don't "take" anything from other websites. Kerochan no Miko 12:13, 11 July 2011 (MST)
JMF, I don't think you understand. Plagiarism is plagiarism and it's against the rules of this wiki and if I catch anyone doing it I call them out on it. Continuing to argue with me doesn't change the fact that you violated the rules and you were warned to stop. Kerochan no Miko 12:18, 11 July 2011 (MST)
Yes, other people have plagiarised information before, been caught, and in at least one case, had their account banned for it. Why do you need to know this? Kerochan no Miko 12:24, 11 July 2011 (MST)
As I said, if I catch anyone copy/pasting information into articles, they are warned just as you are warned. If you have proof that anyone is doing it, feel free to let me know, but if not, I don't see why you're continuing to argue this. It changes absolutely nothing of what you did. Kerochan no Miko 12:35, 11 July 2011 (MST)

And again. Your edit to the Alison Sealy-Smith article: Smith is founding director of the Obsidian Theatre, a company which specializes in Black Canadian drama. The Wikipedia article linked in that edit: Obsidian Theatre is a Canadian professional theatre company, which specializes in Black Canadian drama. Your account has been banned for a week for plagiarism; this is your absolute last warning. Kerochan no Miko 13:23, 16 July 2011 (MST)

JMF, when I warned you about not plagiarizing information from the Ultimate Sailor Moon Encyclopedia, that meant that you needed to write your own completely original information in articles. Your latest edit to the Nekonneru article, however, was basically your old edit to the Nekonneru article with a few sentences switched around. This is not acceptable. If you cannot contribute without stealing other peoples' ideas and writing, your account will be permanently banned for plagiarism. Kerochan no Miko 11:49, 8 August 2011 (MST)

"Many things" were most definitely not different. Here, I'll show you:

July 11: Apart from her superhuman strength and the ability to teleport, Nekonneru was highly invulnerable to physical injury, being able to reform parts of herself from her constituent jigsaw puzzle pieces after these were separated or blown away. Her most lethal weapons were her razor sharp claws, capable of slashing through skin, and her long tail that could catch objects or split up into several tails and intertwine, forming some sort of battering ram. In addiction and, just like a cat, Nekonneru had a high level of speed, agility and reflexes, making it very hard for the Sailor Senshi to finally defeat her.

August 8: Nekonneru appeared to be almost indestructible due to the fact that her body was constituded by jigsaw puzzle pieces, making these separate after she was attacked and return, reforming the damaged body part. She could also slash and cut through any surface with her incredibly sharpened claws and use her long tail to grab objects or divide it into several tails, so that these would interlace, forming some sort of battering ram. Adding to all of this, Nekonneru was very fast and agile, possessed high reflexes, staggering strength and the ability to teleport, making it quite difficult for the Sailor Senshi to finally defeat her.

When you compare those two, it's clear that you're simply re-using the same information with a few different words, like "incredibly sharpened claws" instead of "razor sharp claws," or "intertwine" instead of "interlace." You were also still using phrases copied from the Ultimate Sailor Moon Encyclopedia, such as the part about the battering ram. You may have agreed not to edit that article, but if you engage in this same behavior in other articles it will result in a ban. You've had enough warnings about plagiarism that it should be quite clear to you by now. Write your own contributions or don't write at all. Kerochan no Miko 12:04, 8 August 2011 (MST)

Mayumi Osaka

I'm not an information resource. I suggest that you do your own research if there's something you want to know. Kerochan no Miko 12:16, 27 July 2011 (MST)

Anime Characters

Since you brought this up on 210's talk page, there already is a category for anime-only characters (see here). Creating lists of articles is what categories is for, so there's no need to make an article that would just duplicate it. Kerochan no Miko 01:12, 18 August 2011 (MST)

Anime-only characters are characters who only appeared in the anime. And An, Urawa, Yuuichirou, etc, only appeared in the anime. Kerochan no Miko 01:30, 18 August 2011 (MST)
Ah, yeah, I've forgotten that we already have that category, lol so it's fine as it is now. ^^ --210 01:33, 18 August 2011 (MST)
Given that the majority of characters in the anime-only characters category only appeared in one episode, I don't really see a point in differentiating. Kerochan no Miko 01:38, 18 August 2011 (MST)

Ideas

A... what? Kerochan no Miko 02:36, 18 August 2011 (MST)

Oh. No, I don't see why we'd want that. Looks like it's pretty much just an interactive version of the "did you know" that we already have, and since nobody submits anything for that I doubt a poll would get any use either. Kerochan no Miko 04:18, 18 August 2011 (MST)
I believe that I said no. Kerochan no Miko 13:33, 18 August 2011 (MST)

Considering that the vast majority of characters and MotDs only appeared in one episode, there isn't much point in that. Also the vast amount of work that would be involved in changing any of the infoboxes at this point (since every single article using that template would also have to be edited) is an excellent reason not to. I don't see a problem with listing "last appearances" in the trivia sections as we have been. Kerochan no Miko 13:17, 25 August 2011 (MST)

I don't think you understand how infobox templates work. If I change anything in the character template, it changes it in all of them, and all characters use the same infobox. Kerochan no Miko 14:19, 25 August 2011 (MST)

There is no reason to change the infoboxes as they currently stand. The colors are to show the category the character belongs in, not to coordinate with their outfits. Kerochan no Miko 21:33, 1 September 2011 (MST)

Character Death

The Inner Senshi. Usagi. Setsuna. Possibly Hotaru. Kerochan no Miko 17:17, 27 September 2011 (MST)

You didn't say anything about villains, just "the only character". Kerochan no Miko 10:04, 29 September 2011 (MST)

Living in the US

JMF, I think that you don't quite understand just how very large the US is. I have no chance to track down voice actors unless I happen to run into them at a convention. Tara Strong lives in California, which is at least a twelve-hour drive should I decide to go straight there and should I decide to be a creepy stalker and try to hunt her down (hint: I'm not going to), and I don't have the time or the money to go traveling around the country to hunt down voice actors for a wiki I run in my spare time. This is especially the fact when, as I told you? I don't really care about the dub. The whole point of the wiki is that people who care about certain aspects of it can focus on those aspects; I concentrate on the original anime, the manga, and the musicals, and I let people who know more about the rest fill in the other gaps. You're in Portugal, but would you go track down voice actors in person in order to ask them about roles they played?
As for your accusations that I don't care enough about this project, may I point out that I've devoted a very significant amount of my time and effort to it for over five and a half years. The fact that there are unwritten articles hardly means that I simply don't care about it; it means that I need to find more people who know about things to help. As you say, there is little information about the Hebrew dub to be found, and I needed someone who actually is in Israel to fill that out. --Kerochan no Miko 12:58, 23 November 2011 (MST)

JMF, I'm not sure what you want from me. I have stated several times now that I am not interested in hunting down voice actors. I am not going to do it. Even if I lived in the same city as one, I wouldn't do it, because that's not at all something I'm interested in doing. You can find it fun all you want, I simply don't see it that way. I've also done a significant amount of research for this wiki, even if I'm not giving you detailed records of how I spend my time; the fact that I'm not researching the things that you want me to doesn't change that fact. I actually spent probably two hours yesterday hunting down information on Tara Strong, when I could very well have been doing something I find much more interesting, and I find your accusations that I'm "not helping" to be highly offensive.
