Episode trivia[edit]
- The Amazoness Quartet and Queen Nehellenia made their first physical appearances in this episode.
- This episode included the last use of Fire Soul.
- The Amazon Trio were removed from the opening credits and replaced with the Amazoness Quartet starting with this episode.
- When Usagi and her friends arrived at the circus, "The Blue Danube" was playing in the background.
- In the English dub, when Rini noticed the Amazon Quartet stealing Melody's Dream Mirror, she exclaimed, "It's those girls again!" as though she had seen them before.
- Since episodes 128-149 were skipped in the Korean dub, this episode had to be heavily edited, with scenes inserted from the deleted episodes and other scenes removed to make time for them. Most significantly, the scene from episode 130 in which Sailor Moon and Sailor Chibi Moon upgraded into their "super" forms was added during the fight with GaraGara Musume, while most of GaraGara Musume's appearances were cut entirely.
- This was Hadar Shahaf's first episode playing Sailor Moon in the Hebrew dub, and the last episode in which Elad Samocha played Sailor Mercury.
- In the German dub, when Bunny told Momoko that she would also have a boyfriend once she was older, she called her "Momoru;" Momoko then said that she needed to become an adult as soon as possible, and that once she became one, "Mamoru" would love her. Also in the German dub, VesVes' Ball Ball Attack against Zirconia using her Amazon Stone was not translated; instead, Besubesu just gave a wordless scream. Fire Soul was translated as "Feuersturm, flieg" (Fire storm, fly) instead of the usual "Feuerball, flieg" (Fire ball, fly) in this episode.
