Shakoukai was a Youma created by Kunzite from Countess Rose. She had the appearance of a purple-skinned woman covered and clothed in yellow seashells. She attacked her opponents with a gooey liquid that would encase them under a shell of hot wax.
Her attack was strong enough to counter many of the Sailor Senshi's attacks, and could even solidify Sailor Mars' Fire Soul and Sailor Venus' Crescent Beam. She was healed by Sailor Moon after getting confused by the conflicting orders given to her by Kunzite and the evil Endymion.
Video Games[edit]
Shakoukai was one of the monster types that appeared in the video game Sailor Moon: Another Story. Numerous Shakoukai could be fought during Sailor Mercury's story in Chapter Two, at the Kainess ice caves in Switzerland. In the fan translation of the game, her name was given as "Darkened."
