Sailor Moon in The Netherlands

Sailor Moon in The Netherlands refers to the Dutch dub of the Sailor Moon anime which aired in the Netherlands. The dub was based on the German dub, so most of the German character names and the changes made to the storyline were kept, and the lyrics of the opening theme song, "Zeg het Toverwoord," was almost a literal translation of "Sag das Zauberwort," the first German opening song.
The series was dubbed by the studio Wim Pel Productions, and premiered on Dutch television on September 3, 2002 on the former Dutch television channel Yorin. 52 episodes were aired, and there were several reruns. The Dutch dub has also been shown in Belgium.
